Went with the carbon fiber ones even though FMF says you must repack these every 15,000 miles to prevent heat damage. The construction is near perfect. Unlike most cans, there is no ugly strap around the canister. These save a lot of weight over the stock exhaust. The downsides: have a quite loud 'droning' sound at low rpm that requires earplugs or else you will go deaf, and they do 'pop' a lot on deceleration. Even though I installed them with silicone on the couplings as recommended, I don't think the spring-loaded design allows a perfect seal.

This slip on was a great choice for my motorcycle, it now sounds great and with my Power Commander its much smoother than stock. The installation was a little tricky but aside from that everything is great.

Beautiful pipe that fit perfectly the first time. Sound is off the charts. The only issue is that needs a remap after installation but this was expected.

Installing was very easy. Removing the stock exhaust. The beastly sound far surpasses what was expected. My bike ROARS now. I would not hesitate to put this on again. The only downside to installing this or any free-flow exhaust is the loss of back pressure if you use engine braking. The look and the sound more than make up for any issues.

The FMF is a great price, perfect fit, looks great and sounds perfect. It adds to my Buell 1125 CR Performance. The K&N free flow filter is also a good purchase and works well with the FMF system.

The exhaust pipe represents good value for money as all pipes in the UK are a great deal more expensive. Fit was good only needed a little springing of the down pipes to get everything to fit correctly. There are close tolerances to the way this slip on pipe is designed to fit and it meets those without any problem. Build quality is first rate. The only down side is that the exhaust is very loud on my Buell 1125. I think this has more to do with both the engine design and the position (directly under the gearbox) than the exhaust itself. The overall length is only ½ to 2/3 the length of most exhaust systems.
