K&N Performance Gold Oil Filter
Rob Robinson - August 09, 2007(Edgewater, GA)
This filter does its job very well, keeping my oil running clean for 3000 +/- miles. The best part may be the nut on the end to mount and remove the filter with a wrench or rachet.
Big T - August 09, 2007(Spokane, Prince Edw)
What can you say about K&N filters. The company is well established. Can only say that the filter was the right one and fit my bike (which is saying a lot, because it is a rare bike, and finding anything to fit it is hard). What I can say is that I was super happy with this company's delivery time. I ordered stuff from two web sites at almost exactly the same time. I ordered from this site and then went and filled an order from another site a few minutes later. My order from MotorcycleSuperso
K&N gold Oil Filter
Robert Robinson - August 09, 2007(YORBA LINDA, AZ)
Not many places on the West Coast carry this filter but it is worth it's weight in gold. I use K&N air filters also on KFX400 and LT Z400 quads. Incidentally, not only did the Superstore have them in stock, their price was half what dealers charge. Thanks.
K and N - Performance Gold Oil Filter
Adam - May 05, 2008(San Antonio, TX)
Awesome Filter! Much better than the competition. The welded-on nut makes it easy to install, easy to remove.
Keith - November 20, 2007(Vacaville, CA)
This filter is top of the line. It was easy to install and you can't beat the price.
Visserfrik - July 14, 2008(Langley, BC)
Well, how do you judge an oil filter? All I can say really is that the price was good and the fit was good.
steve-0 - August 21, 2008(palm bay , FL)
K and n quality .Great stuff , high quality !
kathleen rhode - August 21, 2008(las vegas, NV)
fit was fine, no o-rings with filter

Joe Williams - September 15, 2008(Princeton, IN)
What more can I say, it is an oil filter, and It fit my bike.
Mike - December 04, 2008(Brownsburg, IN)
Good filter. The nut on the top aids in installation and removal.
What can I say?
Yorgo - January 08, 2009(Miami, FL)
It's an oil filter. I've used K&N air filters for years with great results. Their oil filters seem to be of the same high quality build as their air filters.
K&N is the best
Roy Bleyl - March 31, 2009(Gloversville, NY)
The filters can be found any place but your prices even with shipping which is also very fast. you can't beat Motorcycle Superstore prices!!!!
K&N Oil Filter
Michael Hinkley - June 02, 2008(Treadwell, NY)
Love all K&N products. The filter has a nut on the end of the filter which will make removal very easy.
Cheapest price so far
Ken L - June 03, 2008(Corvallis, OR)
And they fit perfect, too.
Reymond V - March 20, 2009(Anniston, AL)
Like the title says, it’s a good product. Reasonable price, good finish on the filter, and very easy to install. Would definitely buy again!

I use them in all of my bikes and have not had any issues though. Good price.
K&N Oil Filter
Donald Bickel - May 18, 2009(Peru, IL)
Great feature with hex on the oil filter for ease of install & removal with standard 17mm socket on BMW R1150RT.
It's K&N, 'nuff said!
Daniel St.Louis - May 29, 2009(Westfield, MA)
Keeps my motor healthy. I've always used K&N and never a problem with any of their products. Well worth the extra couple bucks!
it's all about the nut
Adam - June 08, 2009(Clearwater, FL)
Not being a filter engineer, I can't really say how good of a job this filter is doing. Being that it's a K&N I'm trusting in their name that its quality. What it's really about is that 17mm nut on the front of the filter...Now I don't have to ram a screwdriver through the filter and drip hot oil all over to get it off..Although the nut doesn't always hold up, I can still grab it with some vice grips
tommyb - June 29, 2009(Port Neches, TX)
These new filters have a nut welded on the can allowing easy removal of filter with just a socket, and box end wrench ect. Also, it appears that the wall thickness of the can to be thicker, if your bike has a filter located on the bottom of the engine, as my ducati, this seems added protection, against puncture from road debris.
K&N - Performance Gold Oil Filter
Abram - August 10, 2009(San Jose, CA)
Excellent product fits in perfectly. Ever since I had this filter install on my 07 zx-6r my fuel mileage has improve a little bit more than I used to get.
Mike Chavez - August 11, 2009(Tampa, FL)
The one and only K & N! I have now used two of them for my klx 250s and they work great. Along with some royal purple oil, this combination really could be felt.
Bobby - August 17, 2009(FPO, AE)
Just what I needed at a good price
Kevin - August 17, 2009(Lake Charles, LA)
Love the nut feature on filter. Makes for easy removal. Seems to be doing its job
santo - August 24, 2009(Henderson, NV)
You can never have enough filters!
quick and easy
drew - September 28, 2009(norwalk, CT)
Great service from motorcycle superstore, came fast, fit right on. Like the threaded end for easy install/removal with a socket wrench.
Great alternative to OE filters
Eddie DiVincenzo - September 22, 2009(Semmes, AK)
I like these filters. The reputation of K&N makes it easy to be a fan of this product. The filtration is as good as/if not better than OE, and K&N adds one VERY useful addition to their product that I can only wish would be copied by other manufacturers: A welded-on nut at the front of the filter which allows the use of either a wrench or socket for VERY EASY installation/removal. No more messing around with those crazy Filter "wrenches" which are a real pain...to say the least. Why others didn't come up with this before is beyond me. As an added bonus, it's a great place to attach safety wire (for those of us who race-where it's mandatory).
Nice replacement over oem
marc - October 05, 2009(McKinney, TX)
The one reason I got this filter is the 17mm bolt head on the bottom of the filter. Makes swapping out the old one with a new one a 1 min operation! No need to remove the full side fairing on my cbr to try and get an oil filter wrench in there and hope I get enough leverage! Just use a ratchet with a ext, pull the fairing back a bit...and done!
Bryan - October 05, 2009(Farmersville, OH)
Way larger area on air entry with this filter. Intake growl is deeper when accel and decel. Very happy with purchase.
Mike - October 15, 2009(westmilford, NJ)
Has the hex on end so you don’t need a special wrench to take it on and off. That’s just awesome.
K& N Gold Oil Filter
Eduardo Rodriguez - November 16, 2009(Corona, CA)
What can you say it's an oil filter.

2009 Ninja 250R Oil Change
Jeffrey - December 09, 2009(Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Fits flawlessly. Forgot to replace the smaller O-ring but no leaks.
Seems to be of a better quality than the OEM filter. Much cheaper than all the places that I've shopped at.
What can you say, it is a K&N.
roy - January 13, 2010(san bernardino, CA)
Great price for such a quality product.
It's common sense

Yup, it's an oil filter...
Brian - April 12, 2010(Clarkston, WA)
Don't know if it really works any better than the cheaper ones, but it's only a few bucks more, so why not? Fits.
Maz - April 15, 2010(Ramsey, NJ)
Standard K&N quality.
Baker - April 15, 2010(Colorado Springs, CO)
I was turned onto K&N oil filters by my F150 tuner and sure enough we took a fram filter and K&N right there and pressed on the rubber seal through the openings with a small piece of plastic to see how hard the oil pressure had to be to open the seal and sure enough the plastic would bend on the fram, the K&N opened with very little resistance. This my friends is what your oil has to fight through so why make it fight? Try it out yourself and you'll see a lot of commercial filters that don't play so nice with your oil. Granted you need some kick back from the seal but it's not supposed to be that hard.
The only filter.
Manny - April 16, 2010(West Valley City, UT)
Getting any filter off on this bike requires removal of the fairings. With the Gold oil filter I can remove the filter without taking the fairings off. One genius idea that makes this filter worth buying. I will be purchasing another one soon.
Ken - April 22, 2010(Gravette, AR)
Nothing but the best for my bike
Jeff - April 27, 2010(Indianapolis, IN)
Fit as described, fast delivery, will keep using Motorcycle Superstore in the future.
Just what I needed
kevin - May 13, 2010(provo, UT)
Bought this to go along with my oil change. Did it myself on my 08 ninja, was pretty easy and came with everything I needed including the o-rings.
The only oil filter I will buy!
Daniel Sawin - May 18, 2010(Vinita, OK)
This is a really great filter! It comes wrapped in plastic and has a pre-greased seal. You can also use a socket and ratchet to take it off.
Excellent K&N - Performance Gold Oil Filter

Joe - June 04, 2010(Riverhead, NY)
The filter has more surface area than the factory filter so it grabs more.
K & N performance gold oil filter for Triumph Speed Triple
Bob - June 07, 2010(Scotts Valley, CA)
FIlter fits perfectly and has a handy 17mm fitting on the bottom so you don't have to spend the money for the filter wrench from Triumph. Obviously a quality product fit to wear the K & N brand name.
Lonnie - June 10, 2010(Toronto, ON)

Love the Nut on the End
Terry Demmon - June 11, 2010(Valparaiso, IN)
Having a nut on the end of the filter makes it a lot more convenient to get the filter off for the next change.
Bryan O - June 28, 2010(Clemmons, NC)
This is the best filter you can buy. It is worth every penny of the price. The built in nut on the filter is so nice, it makes your oil changes very easy and fast. It cost a bit more but it is worth it.
K&N - Performance Gold Oil Filter
Christopher - July 01, 2010(clermont, FL)

Ross - April 06, 2011(Hattiesburg, MS)
Spent an hour taking the old oil filter off for the first oil change. Spent 15 seconds putting on the K&N filter on. It fits great.

al - June 14, 2011(fond du lac, WI)
Bought the filter with another order. I always use the k&N on my bike. I like the hex nut on the end. makes removal and tightening easier.
Sammy - October 14, 2010(Long Island, NY)
Excellent filter, very easy to put on and take off my 2009 CBR600RR. My friend with a 2010 R6 just started using one, says makes world of difference on installation, the standard oil filters cannot compare in ease of installation.
Great OEM Replacement
Atanas - October 25, 2010(Atlanta, GA)
I got it for '09 ZX-14 with hopes of better flow. I can't tell any difference that I can specifically attribute to this filter yet. But it works. Thanks Motorcycle-Supersore.com for the fast delivery!
K&N Oil Filter for Kawasaki Mule

Phil - August 22, 2011(Grand Rapids, MI)
Perfect fit for my 2010 TW200, no problems at all. K&N pretty much speaks for itself. Will continue using after the break-in period to make sure my bike keeps on goin.
K & N FILTER
D H - August 26, 2011(Belleville, MI)
VALUE IS GOOD, TYPICAL FILTER, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO BE ABLE TO SAY IT WAS MADE IN THE USA. K & N IS KNOWN FOR ITS QUALITY.
Aaron - September 02, 2011(Orland Park, IL)
Filter fits my Yamaha FZ6R with no issues. The simple bolt on the end of the filter is the simplest and most ingenious feature ever added to an oil filter.
jerome - September 27, 2011(poteet, TX)
The title says it all ....plus very fast shipping
This is the best filter
Ray - September 27, 2011(San Rafael, CA)
Fit and finish is number one for me. The Motorcycle Superstore always has the product and there is no need to order anywhere else. The S1000RR is a special bike for me and I always keep up w/ the oil/ filter changes (probably more than is required but it makes me feel confident. Thanks for the emails too.
K&N Oil Filter
Kenny - September 27, 2011(Littleton, NH)
Works the way it should and carries that great K&N name.
Works nice and better than stock...
Milton S. - September 26, 2011(Panama City, Panama, AA)
I don't like the oil filters from the Kawasaki dealer: they don't bring the sealing rings used to fit the oil filter. K&N filter always bring a new seal ring for every application.
Gormshuil - September 26, 2011(Fairfax, VA, VA)
Best filter you can buy!
Mark M. - October 19, 2011(Kennewick, WA)
It's nice that a quality aftermarket filter is available for my Ducati. The case is more robust than the factory filters, and the welded nut makes changing it a snap.
K&N oil filter

Tylker - January 12, 2012(Oconomowoc, WI)
It fit my KTM 400 LC4 400 enduro perfectly as described and works as it should. Also it was shipped quickly and packaged properly. A problem that I have had with other websites. Great job motorcycle superstore

Love'em easy to install and easier to take off. Used them on every bike I ever had.
joe - May 31, 2012(mia, FL)

Rick - June 04, 2012(Eagle Creek, OR)
K & N Oil Filter
Nicholas M. - June 05, 2012(Suffolk, VA)
This filter has a bolt head on the end of the filter which makes it easy to access for tightening and removing. The filter is as good as advertised and is keeping my motorcycle working great for thousands of miles.
PowderSlicer - June 22, 2012(San Jose, CA)
I second everything that has been said here. Great filter, great performance.
Can't go wrong K&N
Toan - June 22, 2012(Phoenix, AZ)
Nice product, comes with 2 o-rings. Good fit/finish. I bought a couple HiFloFiltro filters at the same time...they look identical. Both brands are recommended.
Chris - July 09, 2012(Ftworth , TX)
Great filter! The hex head allows easy removal
Alan - July 11, 2012(Charleston, SC)
Need I say more?
Trust in K&N
Brian - July 30, 2012(Louisville, KY)
Always a perfect fit on every bike I have owned. Great protection and even though I never tighten them more than hand tight I am still thankful for the Nut on the end of the filter for ease of loosening the filter in case it gets siezed on a bit. I trust K&N filters.
K&N Oil Fiter
Dave - April 20, 2012(Colorado Springs, CO)
I have an old MuZ Saxon with a Rotax single. The only way I can get these filters is online. My local dealer doesn't carry them anymore. Thanks to you and K&N I can still ride my bike.
Stretch - September 17, 2012(Dayton, OH)
Went right on, and even comes with a pre-lubed gasket. Seems like a really nice filter, has a quality look and feel to it when you hold it in your hand. I'll buy another one about 3000 miles from now.
K. - October 11, 2012(Plover, WI)
I appreciate the nut on these filters. It makes installing to the specified torque easy and makes removal even easier. No hassle trying to get a filter wrench into tight spaces to remove the filter! Hard to judge the performance of the filtering media other than to rely on the K&N reputation for quality. I use K&N Oil & Air filters on all of my powersports equipment.
Lives Up to Its Name
Brandon - October 30, 2012(Charleston, SC)
I've been running this filter for about 400 miles now and it seems to be working fine. The filter certainly looked A LOT more substantial than the stock ones I had been buying.
BernardQ - December 04, 2012(Miami, FL)
I always buy K&N and have never been disappointed but then again how would I compare it to another filter? I play it safe and buy K&N - prefer to be on the safe side.
Chris - January 21, 2013(Keysville, VA)
It's an oil filter-simple. It fits well and has the 17mm nut already pre-drilled for safety wire--a great benefit for those running track days.
K&N oil filter
esteban - February 26, 2013(orlando, FL)
I love it, I trust, you cant go wrong with this filter.

It makes installation and removal a breeze.
K&N oil filters...
Tom M - April 02, 2013(Poulsbo, WA)
Awesome durability and convenience. I've used the spin-on filters for over 10 years on numerous street bikes and race engines - and no issues. The 17 mm hex head on the spin-ons provide great convenience in installation and removal.
Does the Job
Matt - September 27, 2012(St. Louis, MO)
What can I say, it filters oil and its a K&N so you know its quality. The nut on top of the filter is so much easier than having to use a filter wrench. MotoSuperstore had the best price on the web or in store. Cant beat it.
2012 Yamaha R6
Vizual - August 15, 2012(Terre Haute, IN)
K&N is the way to go.
K&N Oil Filter
IYAAYAS - November 04, 2011(Clovis, NM)
K&N is an established company known primarily for air filters. This is the first time I have tried one of their oil filters. It was exactly what I ordered and fit fine. I especially like the attached nut for installing with a box wrench, not a filter wrench or strap wrench. The price is a little high, but not bad, considering if you have to pay full price for an OEM filter from the bike shop. I would buy another.
kevin - September 27, 2011(laverkin, UT)
The o-rings that come with the filter are a bit on the small side.
There IS only one...K&N!!!!
Roy B. - August 31, 2011(Morgantown, WV)
As long as they keep making it from the same quality materials....I'll NEVER buy another brand.
Good Quality Oil Filter
PowderSlicer - August 22, 2011(SAN JOSE, CA)
I've installed this filter during my last big maintenance in June, and so far it's working just fine. I've put Motul 300V 10W40 Factory Line with it, and so far I have no complaints.
Donnie - July 11, 2011(Lancaster, PA)
Fit great, easy to install with a socket wrench. Little costy, but paying for the name. Overall would recommend it.
K & N oil filter for 2009 Zx10 R Ninja
Frank - August 09, 2010(Methuen, MA)
Excellent quality oil filter. Better that the stock version. It has a nut on the end of the filter which makes changing the oil filter easy. Quality and fit is also as good or better than stock.
K&N Oil Filter
Michael - October 07, 2010(Ft. Worth, TX)
I love the nut on the end. It greatly facilitates the installation and removal.
John - April 26, 2010(landrum, SC)
I have used K&N filters before both Oil and Air and never had
a bad experience. I especially like that you don't have to buy
that expensive oil filter Wrench that BMW sells to service it.
Sam - February 22, 2010(Rio Rancho, NM)
Good fit, good price
fouad - January 29, 2010(grovetown, GA)
I love the welded on bolt worth the extra 2 dollars to spend on this filter
K&N Performance Oil Filter
Tim - October 28, 2009(Santa Cruz, CA)
Great oil filter. Durable and works. What more do you need in a filter? An oil filter wrench does not fit, but the filter has a 17mm nut built in. Only downside: I had to pay $22 for an oil filter wrench to remove the stock BMW filter. K&N makes a great filter, so I'm sure I will never use the oil filter wrench again. Small price to pay to keep the bike purring!
Quality you can trust
Alan Burkhart - April 03, 2009(Yakima, WA)
With the K and N oil filter you don’t have to worry about the manufacture, material, or fit of the product. The 17 mm nut that’s welded to the end of the filter makes installation and especially removal a breeze!
Robert Hummel - June 23, 2008(Chesapeake, VA)
Thanks for a great buy process.
KN performance gold oil filter
Krys Cisowski - May 08, 2008(Mt Prospec, IL)
I love the ease of these filters, having the nut at the edge for easy removal. Oil filter wrenches were a nightmare for me because that area is hard to reach, gets greasy, etc. I expect it will perform as well as most superbikes filters as well so I'm very pleased.
Armando - July 29, 2009(Henderson, NV)
Fit perfectly. 17mm nut helped with install. Durability is low since I only just installed it, but these things get changed with every oil change, so it should last as long as my next servicing. Would buy again though, thanks MSS for the ease of shopping.
Satesh - March 12, 2010(doral, FL)
Working fine so far.
K&N Oil Filter
Patrick - March 30, 2010(Chico, CA)
So far this oil filter is working great. I have noticed that when I start the bike that it stars smoother than before. As for how well it filters, we'll have to cut it in half at the end of its use.
John - June 22, 2010(Appleton, WI)
A little expensive, but having the bolt on the end for proper torque and removal is nice.
05 Ninja 250 - Came with Rings x 2
Kit - July 08, 2011(Blaine, WA)
Took a gamble on the $7.50 price but came with both rubber rings so it is a good deal.
A little pricey
Mark - July 08, 2011(Vienna, VA)
K&N is a great brand that takes care of what is needed. The price for this filter was a little higher than I would have preferred though.
Kinzie - April 17, 2012(Pocatello, ID)
Super quick and easy to install and works great!
IYAAYAS - June 13, 2012(Clovis, NM)
If you get the filter with the 17mm nut attached, make sure you use a 6-point socket or wrench to take it off. A 12-point socket or wrench will round it off. I had to puncture the filter and drive it off with a screwdriver and hammer. Otherwise it is a good filter, and it came with the gasket attached.
Good, but no gasket
mrow - April 20, 2012(Oak Park, IL)
Good product, but it didn't come with a fresh rubber gasket. Many other manufacturers include the gasket including FRAM.
k&n for Concourse
Rob - January 08, 2013(Glendale, AZ)
Have not had on for that long but did make an improvement on Noisey valve train noise you get on these bikes on start-up. Make it a lot quieter but still rattles a little. Thanks K&N. Would like the price to come down a little more.
Nice feature for a long-distance rider...
Brian - November 10, 2009(Charleston, SC)
Removing oil filters on my FJR has been problematic at best. The 17mm shape on the end of this filter makes it easy off, easy on. Cost wasn't an issue relative to value and ease of use.
Johnny - November 29, 2011(Ringwood, NJ)
Bought 2. Neither box had an o-ring. Seems an o-ring no longer is included.
Oil Filter, K&N Gold
ED - August 04, 2010(Ofallon, IL)
It's an oil filter...use it and trash it. Performance is the only factor here.

Quick delivery, perfect fit, what else can you say about an oil filter.
Art Black - September 22, 2009(friedens, PA)

The best oil filter!
Dodjie - November 02, 2009(Manteca, CA)
The design of the 17 mm nut welded on makes it a lot easier to get on and off. No need for filter wrenches ever. A little pricey but worth the extra dough. That feature alone makes it incomparable, especially if you own a sportbike where the oil filter is well hidden, behind hard to reach places.
KandN oil filter
Bob Le - January 10, 2008(Louisville, KY)
This oil filter built in the 17mm socket head for easy to install and remove. The out look does not have any KandN imprint or sticker as its does on the other automobile's oil filter that I have. Good product so far . Thanks.
K&N oil filter for 2011 Ninja 250R
Tom - January 25, 2013(Bangkok, AP)
I bought it because it's suppose to be a good quality oil filter. Not being able to see it in operation, it's a matter of trust. I've used K&N air filters for years and on numerous vehicles, so I figured I'd buy the oil filter. It came with both base plate and bolt shaft "O" rings.
K&N oil filter

First time using K&N oil filter on my bike, fit like original. Internal components look similar. It is K&N so expect good results.

At this time I have not used the filter but I have looked at the construction and it seems to have as much filter area as an OEM filter with a comparable price.
K&N Oil Filter

The filters arrived in a timely manner saving me an hour drive into Tucson. I will certainly use the Superstore in the future.

Not much to say item is as described. I had 190 miles on the bike and bought this filter hoping to catch more of the detritus that normally appears during break in. I may go with another filter after the break in is complete just due to cost.
No O Rings
Brock - February 08, 2011(Rio Grande, TX)
For the v star 1100 there is supposed to be two o rings that come with the filter... K&N do consider it prudent to include said o rings. So expect to go to the dealer and pay five bucks a piece... next time i'll order another brand that comes with the o rings for the same price as the filter alone from K&N...
K&N oil filter
xb rider - April 14, 2010(burke, VA)
I have not done an oil analysis so I cannot tell you how well it filters the oil, but I love that there is a 17mm nut on the end, makes installation and removal a breeze. I recommend and continue to use this filter because its so easy to use.
K&N - Performance Gold Oil Filter
rick - March 05, 2010(San Diego, CA)
What can I say about an oil filter? It fit, it works. Just what I needed.
Scott - August 19, 2011(Dallas, TX)
I can't say I noticed any improvements in performance over the stock filter, but the filter fit fine and works well. No problems with it whatsoever.
Satisfactory but a little pricey
E Westbrook - March 31, 2009(Albuquerque, NM)
I bought this oil filter on a friend's recommendation, and because I have heard good things in general about K&N products. I later learned of some independent analysis that put it below the manufacturer's oil filters in performance, at a higher price. I'll use it for my next oil change, but probably not beyond that.
