Maybe this is completely my fault but I was surprised that the 'kit' did not include a new gasket or washers for the 2 bolts on the clutch cover that must be replaced per my shop manual. Riding season comes much later than most places where I live so I won't know how this clutch works for quite a while.

I am very disappointed in the DP Brakes- Clutch Kit. Out of the kits that are offered they look real chinsy. I dont like how they were made, the material looks cheap and flakey. I didnt HAVE to oil them, but I did for my insurance. It slips every once an a while when really hammering down on it, my old one didnt. Very disappointed in the 134 I spent for it.
Didn't include all of the parts needed!

You get the plates and springs like they say, but they don't send you the steels. If your clutch plates were burnt out like mine were, your steels (the thin disks that sit between the clutch plates) will probably be burnt out too. But I can say the new clutch plates did stop my clutch from slipping.
Thanks

This kit is very easy to install and does not require pre oiling. The case is a cool bonus too.
