Compared to the other brake levers available for a 2000 Suzuki SV650, this lever was very economical. It is a brake lever. It installed fine on my SV650. I'm sure it would hold up to use and work fine. However, the low cost came at the cost of features. The stock SV650 lever has 6 position settings (6 being the closest to the handlebar). This lever only has 4, and the closest setting keeps the lever quite a bit farther away from the handlebars than setting 6 does on the OEM lever. If you have smaller hands, this lever will not be comfortable. I did not want to ride the SV650 without being able to rely on being able to grab the brake lever under any circumstance.
