I'm not really good at these review things, but I ordered one of these for my 1982 Yamaha XJ650R Seca. Not exactly a new bike. As a matter of fact, with very few exceptions, it's damn near factory. At any rate, the original tach drive cable developed a crack in the housing where it connects to the engine causing an oil leak, I ordered this, got it, installed it and all is well with the world. No muss, no fuss, no modifying. It fits and works perfectly.
