This did not fit...period. The best I could figure, having looked up the number myself, is this was for a previous cb750 not an 81 or later cb900 like mine. The difference is the master cylinder. The 81's and up have dual piston dual caliper front disc brakes and the previous models had either single piston discs or drum brakes...different master cylinder,

Works just like I need. Tuff to find parts for 1989 KX80, so, its good to know there is a place that offers solutions to a tough find.
