The light works great, easy to install, but the instructions are very disappointing. The operational range is about 100 ft. It would be nice to know how long the brake light part will stay active after you shut off the motorcycle to gas up or do something else, while leaving your helmet on. It is almost impossible to see if it is working while the helmet is on unless you ask someone to check for you.

VERY EASY TO INSTALL, HAD TO GO TO G-MAX WEBSITE TO MAKE BOTH MY WIFE'S AND MY HELMET WORK OFF ONE TRANSMITTER. WE HAVE A SIDECAR SETUP, THE BRALE LIGHT SYSTEM LOOKS GREAT AT NIGHT, DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH BRIGHTNESS FOR THE DAYLIGHT. VERY CLEVER IDEA.

A great product for night-time riding. I had a few comments from other drivers who had noticed the extra brake light. Don't even bother turning it on in the daylight. It isn't bright enough to be useful in daylight.

Although the light proposes a great idea and it truly work very well, its illumination is not bright enough to get the attention of the vehicles following behind. I truly like the idea and the fit and finish of this light is great, but it does not shine anywhere near the brightness of the taillight or enough to make it a good safety feather. Please make BRIGHTER!!!!!!!
GREAT additional feature!

Works great & looks great. Kinda $$$ but great visibility for safety, more brake lights are better. Don’t know why people are crying “too hard to install”. The helmet was designed for it to be there; very easy & intuitive to install, no problems. Battery pack available on this website, easy. Just hoping moderate rain doesn't hurt it; haven’t got caught in the rain with it yet but it’s bound to happen. Hopefully it will be okay when wet because I REALLY like this feature. Highly recommended.

Great addition to my helmet. Everything was there to hook it up. Instructions were very generic. Would have been better if they were helmet specific for removing vent covers but wasn't hard to figure out. Brake light replaces existing helmet light and cable runs up to existing battery compartment located under the Sun Visor slide. Small phillips screw to remove to get to batteries.

AAAAhhh, new toys...first, does not come with battery holder, you must purchase separately which is bull! two, no instructions to install, have to pry out rear vent, remove screws. then you find out manufacturing secrets of helmet, have a hot glue gun ready to put that screen back together!

The kit has no instructions on what size batteries to use or the connector from the battery to led light. Bought the gmax 67 helmet the owners manual doesn't tell you how to install the light either only where its located & helmet didn't come with the battery or cable attachments. Guess I'll go to radio shack to find connector & battery holder.
