Wish there was a way to "lock" the position. The snaps allow for a little movement up and down, but once riding it stays in the "up" position (where the bottom of the shield is further from your face). I usually wear sunglasses underneath, but can get by without them. Love the look. You get the full-face look with the 3/4 appeal. Haven't worn in hot weather yet, but the ventilation is sufficient.

Luv this one! Purchased 2 Bell Custom Helmets and paired them with 3 snap gradient tint and smoke face shields (i.e., colors coordinated well with my helmet selections). I get air yet the 3 snaps secure the product to my helmet. Thanks Motorcycle Superstore!

When you average out the reviews, it's about right. The shield tends to flap around a bit. I found a fix by tapping the inside of the center snap with a punch ( on a hard surface) tightened it up enough to make it a bit of a flip up that stays up or down. Otherwise great, bought two of them.

Bought a Bell 500 helmet that I L-O-V-E except for the fact that I look like the Great Gazoo! Friends & family's first reaction was to laugh. Couldnt bear to part with a beautiful helmet I got at a killer price. Solution... this visor in smoke. Once I put the visor on it was unanimous... from dork squad to old school cool. Perfect for cruising or the highway .

I bought the retro amber Bell shield for myself and it is really, really cool! I love the fit and the look. Works great for me at laid back cruisin speeds or on the highway. No complaints. Had to order a second one for my dad! He really liked it too. Said it reminds him of "back in the day".
