I bought these because my first, and many years old, pair of HT Pants wore out. The new version had many pleasant improvements notably easy to access pockets. Only one ride so far in the new pair but in 40 degree weather I was toasty and improved liner and liner fastening had my legs warm with no draft up my leg. These pants do order to size in my experience.
Great Pants!

Very good riding pants! Consider buying up in size, they size these pants to fit. (34 are 34, no additional flex!) Great Pants!
Definitely keeps me warm.

The pants fit. I haven’t used the liner yet. The pants block the wind and keep me warm at 35 degrees. 3/4 zipper works well - would be easier to put on and off with full zipper, but this works. Wish the pass thru pockets were easier to use. One snap on the ankle pulled thru on the first use, but there is Velcro there that works too
Good pants . . .

Need to order the pants about one size larger than normal, for a comfortable fit. Great material used, and the pants really cut the wind. I would buy them again.

I purchased these for a spring trip from Virginia to Key West in March of this year. We ran thru several periods of rain and showers and also had a departure temperature of 29 degrees and never encountered any leaking of rain or cold. I was also able to remove the liner for the trip back making them comfortable in the higher Florida temperatures.

If the front snap was able to actually snap, I would have kept the pants. Also, I wear a 36 pant size and should have ordered a 38 instead of a 36.
Goodby to firstgear...

The pant sucks. Need full length zipper, get rid of the stupid gaiter and no need for an additional zipper on the insulation. Insulation is half the thickness of old version. Knee pads to low, even when fully adjusted up. Returning pant, will look for older version on ebay while I decide which brand of pant to try next.

Heavy duty nylon. Fit is exact at the waist. Hips and legs have plenty of room. Not form fitting. If room at the waist is needed go another size up and use the Velcro straps to belt fit. They are good quality overplants’ got the 34 tall with 34 inseam. The leg seems long off the bike but eliminates any ride-up at the ankle when riding.
