Update to my original review after wearing my yellow Patrol jacket through three Pacific Northwest winters: It's still AWESOME! :D I've ridden through (and sat in) rain, sleet and snow of all kinds, including some of the most torrential rain I've ever seen and remained bone-dry every time. Note: To remain dry, wear glove cuffs OVER the wrist openings. I also wear a fleece/turtle-fur neck wrap to make sure rain can't drip down inside the jacket.
HIGHLY Recommended.

When I was first looking for a new jacket, I knew I wanted something waterproof and something that I could use all season long no matter the conditions. I was hesitant to buy this jacket due to the cost, but after receiving it I knew it was a quality jacket. I've now used it for a whole season and season and it’s well worth it. I purchased the Hi-viz Yellow and it can be seen for miles, I've received numerous comments on the visibility. If this jacket ever wears out I'll definitely buy another!
Great jacket, hi viz rocks!

This jacket has performed as advertised. I've had it for nine months and it's been to hell and back. Rain, sleet, snow, mud you name it. When the temps get really toasty, I switch to a mesh jacket to stay comfortable. It's a great three season jacket and I would buy it again.

Looks like a standard rain jacket with a few extra zippers. I can wear on the bike to work, and then to lunch without looking like an idiot. Red color is high vis. Snap-in liner is toasty warm. The fit is ideal for the sleeves and back (I'm 6'2") in the Large size. Only minor complaint: the front zipper leaks air. The snap-in liner doesn't resolve this. Hence, on colder mornings, I wear a separate down vest.
Icon product are not waterproof, don't believe it

I bought 4 winter jackets to choose this one. It is fantastic. Had it out on a pretty serious rain without any problem. I believe is very well waterproof. The yellow color is very well visible.
Not waterproof.

I bought this jacket for all weather riding. I ride 45 min to work every day, rain, shine or snow. The jacket keeps you really warm but the problem is that it’s not 100% waterproof. After 30min in the rain, the water starts to slowly get inside your jacket. The other bad thing is that the jacket starts to fall apart after the first 2 weeks of wearing this jacket. First around the hand, I had to glue it back together, then the collar started to go next.

My husband likes this coat a lot. Unfortunately we had to return it for a larger size, the description of how it fits are inaccurate. He should have fit in a 3XL, but had to get a 4XL because he couldn't move in the 3XL.
Great coat!

I purchased the ICON Patrol jacket in Hi-Viz Yellow in Nov 2011. It's the warmest coat I've had and ICON continues to to bring great products to market.
I recently did a memorial ride and the morning temps were in the 20's then warmed up into the 60's later in the day. The ICON Patrol jacket was warm all day, I could have taken out the liner as the temps warmed up, but didn't and was fine.
I haven't had it out in the rain yet but I'm confident it will perform as advertized.
Good fall, winter, spring.

I like this coat a lot and don't regret one cent, would buy again. Thoughtful details and well designed, cuts the wind, nice rain skirt, draws at bottom, warm, neck works good with out choking, easy to wear a full coat heated liner underneath, and easy to put on and take off. It's a great coat and I'm grateful to have it. The patrol gloves are awesome with it, going to get the bottoms as well.
