Very versatile jacket and a great buy. Protects in high 30-ish weather with the quilted liner zipped in and wearing a sweatshirt underneath, and also in warmer weather with the liner removed and the adjustable arms and vents opened. Good armor in critical places. Fits well and is roomy except in my case I had to reposition the bottom snap fastener because the jacket was too tight around the lower waist. Suggest ordering a size up from normal if the wearer is not beanpole-shaped. I'm 5'11” 230# and got the XXL

Good jacket to get you started in the sport and get you riding deep into the cold. I just wore it on a 2300 mile trip from FL to MI and back. In below 45F weather I used a heated vest under it with good effectiveness. I could use it by itself in weather up to 70F without removing the liner. I can wear it up to about 80F with removing the liner. I normally wear a Large to XL, 6' 225lbs, and I have this in a Medium and it fits fine.

I know I'm piling it on, but this is an excellent jacket for the money. Plenty of adjustments to make it fit just right. In the black, it might be too warm above 90 degrees or so, but my first ride was in the mid 80s and it was perfectly comfortable. My only critique is that it doesn't have a breast pocket for an ID card when I ride to work.

Sturdy, well built, fits well, and lots of protection. I feel safer when I ride with this jacket on. I'm glad I got it. It was recommended by a colleague that bought one and showed it to me. I looked at it and that day I ordered mine. My wife is happier when I go out and conquer the traffic. Recommend.
