This is a great jacket for the hot days in FL, and fine for the cold days here as well. There are some things I wish it had, such as pockets on the inside of weatherproof jacket and a way to keep the zipper handles down. I like the fit and I like that you can replace the back protector with something else, but why cant the shoulder and forearm protectors come out? I would like to be able to replace those if I wanted. Great jacket though and looks great too!

Good for mild to hot weather riding. Fits and looks great, I wear a 40 Reg. jacket and the medium was a good choice for me.

This is the first jacket I have purchased from MSS and I have to say that I am happy that I did. I am 6'3, 185lbs and wear a Large. It feels protective and comfortable. My first ride with this jacket was over 8hrs in 40 - 75 degree weather giving me a wide range of comfort through out the entire ride. I will be able to wear this jacket through out the summer as the inner lining is easy to remove if needed. The protection on the lower back and elbows is well placed and well thought out.

1st jacket in 45 years of riding. Tight around left wrist where my dive watch is. Front mesh zipper must be pulled upwards to get it to go down. Am happy. Jacket is new.

Wears beautifully, liner is good with rain and cold (with a base layer) to the 40's... Which makes this jacket ideal for changing weather conditions! Great in the summer to above 100F - this jacket allows ATGATT. This is my SECOND Joe Rocket Phoenix 5 jacket - the last one only had a zipper failure... after 3 years! And JR sent me the replacement parts free of charge!!

This is a good warm-weather jacket with descent protection and excellent visibility (in the high-vis yellow). The zippers are a little touchy. I wish it had CE rated back protection. All in all, I would buy it again.

Nice jacket, but Joe thinks we're all built like Adonis, tapered from a manly chest to a narrow waist. I am not that man, and had to return it. Shoulders & chest were fine...waist was way too tight. Found that 1st Gear better understands the mature male body and makes allowance for abundant adipose tissue at the gut.

Seriously good

I wear these in the hot summers (90 degrees F) of Pensacola, and I feel cooler in them than I do in a long sleeve t-shirt. I highly recommend them. I'm 5'6" 160lbs and a Medium suited me perfectly.

Ordered a medium, fits great! Could be a tad long in waist but fits splendid when leaned over on the bike.
