Great helmet..... once you get the correct size. I first ordered a X-Large and it sat on top of my head. When I exchanged it for a 2X-Large it fit just fine and felt a lot better. Working with Motorcycle Superstore to exchange the helmet was a real pleasure. I like the collar keeping the wind out of my ears and the cost was a lot less than expected. Great folks & great helmet. I will shop here again.

I tried this helmet on at the Americade Touring Rally in Lake George, Ny and loved it!! I didn't purchase it at that time, and then regretted it. I found the helmet online and ordered it quickly. It is the best fitting helmet I have ever owned!! I am ordering another one soon for a backup, although I would really like to see it in a green metallic!! Thanks for a great product.

Extremely comfortable helmet. It's lightweight and allows me to wear my hair in a low ponytail. It does feel a bit odd the first few times you wear it if you're used to a standard helmet. The strap retention loop does a great job...no getting slapped by the extra long strap.

Finally I have found a helmet that doesn't give me a headache and looks good. I've tried so many shapes and size helmets, and this one is extremely lightweight, comfortable and doesn't make me look like an Alien on two wheels! I got the Pearl White (so many choices) to match my two-tone bike and I'm thinking of buying the silver as well (a girl's gotta have her choices you know!).

The Vega XT half-helmet is a fantastic buy! True to the promotional material, the helmet is light, low-profile, stylish---and has the cool collar/ear covers with the built-in communications pockets (for the essential on-board intercom for baggers with passengers). The color (Candy Apple Red) is bright yet subtle, and the D.O.T. approval is essential. Terrific value for money!

This is exactly the type of helmet I like, with all of the features I want: half height, removable neck guard, 3-snap visor. I don't like the padding on the inside of the ear guards, but that is easily removed.

Perfect helmet for me! My measurements were between a S and XS so I ordered the Small - Well, I guessed wrong and the small was a bit big so I returned it and got the XS. Fits great, looks great (low profile) and appears to be solidly constructed (I've only worn it for about 300 miles so far). I especially like to zip-off neck curtain; perfect for those cold, foggy NorCal mornings which turn into hot afternoons. Overall a great helmet for a great price! Shout out to MC Superstore - always a pleasure doing business with them!

I bought this helmet hoping that it would be cooler for the summer and so far it has worked well. The fit was very close to other helmets I have and without the sides on it, it is much cooler when the temps are high. I recommend it to anyone who's tired of the hot head you get from 3/4 and full face helmets.

It worked. Overall, nice helmet. The visor on it worked. It got sunny on the range and I wore clear glasses. The removable back piece was removed too after the sun came out. I was able to hear well with both it on and off. It made me look like a Chip, nothing wrong with that. I felt safe and comfortable with a DOT approved fairly priced helmet for this beginner. I'm happy with this choice. I got the dark red one.

I had been trying on helmets previously that gave me that "mushroom head" look, but reading reviews and seeing others say this was low profile I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did because I love this helmet and I don't look like I have a ginormous head when I wear it. I loved the color selection, and the blue one I bought is exactly the color I was hoping. I normally wear 3x, but took a chance on ordering 2x. A little snug, but after couple hundred miles it has broke in and fits fine. Strap good length, with zipped on leather lowers it is surprisingly warm and quiet. Have much more expensive helmets, but wear this one on all but coldest of days. This is a bargain.

Used the size chart, measured my head and got a good fit. I was surprised at the features included for this relatively inexpensive helmet. I have used the helmet several times on 105°+ days and it was as cool as could be expected. Before I was reluctant to wear a helmet on hot days but now it's no problem - which makes the wife happy. The lining is a little cheap but at the price I'm not complaining.

This is a great helmet - well constructed, inexpensive, everything. I had one problem with it, and it may be unique to me, the tops of my ears hit the bottom edge of the helmet! It doesn't hurt, but is a bit annoying on a long ride. This doesn't happen when I have the collar zipped in, but I got the half-helmet so I wouldn't have something down that low on my head.

Good features at a competitive price. Some advice for potential buyers: if you're between sizes on size chart, go larger. I did the opposite initially, and had to return the helmet for the larger size. Vents actually work- not fantastic, but you can feel some cooling airflow when riding. Shorty visor that comes with the helmet looks good, but is actually so short you shouldn't expect it to provide any shade for your eyes or face. Very good helmet for the money, I'm happy with the purchase.

I really like this Helmet. It fits well and is comfortable. I like the neck curtain. Works well. The only problem is that the chin strap is ridiculously short. I have a big head and I'm sure that is part of the issue but I only have a tiny piece of strap to thread through the d rings. Pulled tight there is less than an inch to pull on.

Very good fit and comfort. I love the minimal padding which lessens the bulk of the helmet. The finish is smooth. I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability. The big complaint is THE STRAP IS ABOUT THREE OR FOUR INCHES TOO SHORT to easily fasten the helmet. The snap on bill is too short to do any good. Other than the maker cheaping out on the strap length it is the best fitting most comfortable helmet I have ever had, and with the thin lining it should stay that way.

The helmet was too small, I measured according to directions. They took return without a hitch and sent replacement. The manufacturer did not allow for ears in the helmet padding. When I put on the helmet my ears would bend over, very uncomfortable. When I stuffed my ears inside the helmet my ears were squashed against my head, also very uncomfortable. I cut the inside lining and dug out the styrofoam padding for ear space, now it's OK. Take note Mr. Vega.

My motocross helmet was a little overkill for Vespa rides around town. Needed something light, with good air flow, easy to get on and off. This helmet gets the job done. Did not have high expectations for a helmet in the price range, but this is a great helmet for a scooter. I probably would want more protection for a full sized street bike. Make sure to order one size larger then you normally wear and it will fit perfect.

This one is really good! Important features for me are fit, finish, removable washable liner, and removable ear flap. Durability will reveal itself over time. I like the individually available accessories: snap-on brim and face shield. If you do not have a windshield for your ride, a face shield ought to be ordered with the helmet. Safety First.

Learning that motorists aren't looking out for bikers, I've appreciated the diffeence high-visability clothing makes. This helmet came in yellow. A perfect fit the first time... nice comfort in brisk weather. The ear pads muffle some of the road noise and keep ears toasty. I use a full-face for highway cruising but for around town and warmer weather, this is THE helmet at a good price.

Nice a little small but I can fix that I think. I wear glasses and there is little room for them, and my ears. Color is great well made, except for the gap in the helmet trim material, they left a 3/8 inch gap between the two ends in the back. Will need super glued. Great finish very light great value; super fast shipping!

Ordered two helmets but when I received them and tried to install the speakers and mic, I found that there was no place to store the speaker wire going from one side over to the other side. It just hangs loose around the back of my head. Very disappointing.

Great fit. I usually wear a large so I ordered the Vega XT in a large and it fits true to size. The finish quality is just a bit lacking, but it's merely cosmetic. For example, the visor snaps to the helmet but the center snap is off center and the right side is a touch higher than the left. The brow vents are pretty much useless. There's a loop for tucking in the extra length of chin strap so it won't flap in the wind, but using the loop is more trouble than it's worth. The zip-off removable ear flap/curtain works great and is easy to use. The ear flaps have built-in pockets for speakers, but I haven't tried them. The finish paint looks a bit thin, but the color (candy red) is a spot-on match with my Flyscooter Cadenza. Overall I feel the helmet is a good value, considering the fit and price. I would expect more if I paid more. If you're looking for an inexpensive half helmet that meets DOT regs, I'd recommend the Vega XT.

I've had this helmet almost a month and it's fine.. I finally zipped on the ear curtain and it felt really strange. After a quick investigation, I realized that the left ear is an inch or so forward of the left ear. I just ordered the replacement.. Hope it's better that this one. :-)

As others have stated, need more room for ears. PERFECT in every way--fit, finish, comfort, size (ordered true to size - LG), and weight--very light and no mushroom head for a DOT helment. Thinking about buying another one. Oh, I like the zip out neck and ear warmer too -- makes it cozy on cool days.
