I have both the Shoei Multitec and the Neotec. The only benefit of the Neotec is superior air flow. I wear a small in the Multitec but had to size down to ex-small for Neotec. Neotec is VERY noisy. I wear ear plugs when using it. I have gone back to my Multitec and only wear Neotec on hottest days. Save your money and get a Multitec if you can find one.
I should have bought one sooner.

This helmet is very good and an excellent replacement for my original helmet. The fit and comfort is beyond my expectations. I wish I had bought a Shoei the first time. Works great with my Scala G9 Bluetooth. Just a tad too expensive is my only complaint.
Excellent except for...

This is my third Shoei. This one is the most comfortable. The sunshade is a great addition. The fog resistant gel add-on works but limits vision too much to be worth using. BUT the Neotec is in fact noticeably noisier than the Duotec. Noticeably. One would have thought with all the improvements that this would be a priority. Don't they test these things, after all? I'll stick with the brand because of overall fit, but hope they make the next version at least as quiet as the earlier Duotec.
Great helmet!

A little on the spendy side but very nice! Excellent fit (assuming you have a Shoei-shaped head) and by far the quietest helmet I've ever owned.

Very pleased. Quiet, great air flow. Best helmet I've ever owned in 53 years of riding.

Overall a great helmet which it should be for the price. Haven't had much saddle time with it only a couple hundred mile's but so far I like.

I had an HJC modular before and am very pleased with how aerodynamic the Shoei is. Wind does not leak in and comfort and visibility are excellent. Just lower price is nice! On anything a lower price is nice...
Doesn't get any better than this

The Shoei Neotec was purchased as a primary helmet with a backup being a Shoei ¾ . The full face was purchased because of fit and features. My field of view on both the x and y are increased significantly. The air flow in the helmet is significantly better than what I’ve been used to, one of the main reasons I shield away from full face. All in all this is a lot of helmet and you are getting exactly what you paid for.

Best Helmet I've ever owned. I really would have liked to see a ratchet chin strap on it though. Really enjoyed that feature on the Shuberth C3. It's not a big deal though. Overall, a really nice quality helmet.
