We get compliments from car drivers. They stop us in stores and say, Great Job on those helmets, we could see you guys even from way down the street. We've had them for a few months, don't buy this helmet until you try them on, they run small. So my husband had to get the XXXL and I got the XL.

This has got to be the best helmet that I've ever owned. While pricey, I am warm in the winter. The unit is quiet. I have attached the SRC System, made by Cardo of scala rider. The scala rider, give audio, Gps, iphone calls, music or the radio. Although I havent read all of the specifics Im confident that I can share my old scala rider enhanced helmet with my new SRC helmet. I like the share and the feel. If you can part with the $$ I think it's worth the dough!

Not that great and certainly not Africa tough.

While I went through the southern half of Africa I found the ventilation very poor I was baking inside this thing. The one time the helmet fell a few feet above the ground and the whole top sliding mechanism for the vent literally shattered in several pieces. It's cheaply made in my opinion and a poor design. It's light yes it's quiet yes but I wear earplugs anyway and for me this helmet is waaaaaaaaaay over priced. Do your research and get a good helmet that is better priced.

The best communication system made. The reviewers that didn't like the fit BOUGHT THE WRONG SIZE!!! People, don't go buy a helmet without trying it on... If it is tight, go up a size, if that one is tight, go up another size... Don't base a helmet size of one brand to the next, go try them on. We have two of these and LOVE them. Zeke had to go to a 3X before he found one to fit... But they are so light weight on your head. We have the orange ones and get compliments everywhere we go.

Have owned arai and shoei before, the schuberth blows them away! Amazing helmet! Runs a bit small, if you are in between sizes, go up. Also, a bit on the expensive side, but you do get what you pay for!

Bought C3 in Sep. 2011 before a trip to NM. Tight fit. Triangular notch over the forehead, dug deep into my skin for 670 miles, leaving it raw. Chin strap chocking.Release mechanism good, yet hard to insert. Skin behind my ears was raw from the piping of the skirt folding over. Problem solved by running a finger through to smooth down into position. Tinted visor good, but too grey.

Nothing bad to say about it, I ride w/ Shoei as well, and no comparison! Schuberth is the best helmet for touring purpose.

The C3 is a great helmet. However, at this price point, there are some issues. They run real small! You will have to go one or two sizes up!! I love the chin retention system, some prefer d-rings. The SRS system is amazing! If you do not use the SRS system, which is an amazing feature, you may not be able to justify the price. It's expensive, but I have found it over all a great helmet...

It’s comfortable and quiet. It's very difficult to get the chinbar to lock down with one hand. Communications are amazing. The decals are stickers; which is very surprising given the very high price point of this helmet. The best feature is the communications system. If you are not going to buy the comms for it, then don’t even waste your money on the helmet. There are many better lids out there at the same or lower price points.
