As a first time helmet buyer, I don't have much to compare this helmet to, but out of all the helmets I tried, this one was by far the most comfortable and it looks great!

It is a sweet fit and it's the quietest hat I have ever owned and I have had a bunch of them. The vision out of this helmet is superior. I paid $450.00 and that is expensive, but, if you can afford the hat, buy the hat. I would rate it as an aspirational product; for fit, vision and quietest ... A+

Size is exactly as Arai said it would be. Airflow is great and I live in Honolulu. Eyebrow vents especially help and the mouth vent flows tons of air. I got the diamond grey and it looks so good I would love to see my bike in the same color (2012 VROD Muscle). Bottom line is this is the Porsche of helmets. When you get tired of cheaper helmets you'll eventually buy an Arai so why not save yourself the trouble and just buy this first.

It fit as expected, the same sizing as my Shoei. It's comfortable to wear and is well made.

The cheek pads were easy to trim down, rather than spending another $50 on slimmer replacements. The noise to me is actually less with the shield open than when closed. It was very easy to add speakers for communications. I think we made a good choice getting a pair of these.
Still the best helmet builder!

My very first real helmet was an Arai (Quantum E) because I figured my head was worth the most expensive protection on the market. It fit perfectly, was reasonably quiet and lasted for more years than I should have worn it. I then "Cycled" through Shoei (a fine helmet), HJC, and Bell but came back to Arai for its quality build, attention to detail and perfect fit. I am very satisfied.

All Arai helmets are made for different head shapes, so beware when buying if you've never had one before. This is my second Vector Helmet, and the head shape (design) is best for me. Arai is the ONLY helmet I will wear. Great airflow "meaning your head wont twist and turn at high speeds" which is one of the best features of these hand made helmets. The only reason I bought another one is for color, to match my new jacket. The first one is still in great shape.

Not a lot to say other than it's awesome. The difference between lower end helmets is unbelievable. Low amounts of wind buffeting, the helmet is quieter, the airflow is great, and opening vents does not affect aerodynamics, and is only slightly noisier than having the vents closed.
Diamond series paint is awesome looking.

I absolutely love this helmet. It was the only helmet that didn't give me a headache after 10 min. I had gotten the scorpion ex750 but returned it due to ill fitting. I got the Vector 2 and Fell in love with it as soon as I put it on. It feels like your head is in a pillow.
