Bought it with intention of painting it flat black, but I loved the way it looked right out of the box and never painted. I did order additional snaps so I could use 5 snap flat shield. Very little wind noise on the highway with the flat shield. I ordered a large and it fits great (my other helmets are a Daytona 3/4 X large and full face ZR-1 in a large. Both fit great that may help you find your size).

I bought this helmet for my daughter, along with a bubble shield. I knew it was not going to fit PERFECT because her head measured a few millimeters smaller than the XS on the fitment chart but I have to say fitment is true to the fitment chart. Stitching, liner & cushions are of good quality but I do wish the cushions were removable like in my Icon. But for $50 you can't go wrong and the shell has a sweet paint job! I'm thinking of getting myself one too.

I was buying a full face helmet and saw this helmet on close out. Figured I couldn't go wrong for under $50. Now it's become my favorite helmet. Love the old school look plus it's really comfortable. This helmet doesn't squeeze my ears and cheeks like my other helmets, yet it still fits snug. It could use some ventilation but I'm willing to give that up for the old school look. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Luv this one! Purchased 2 Bell Custom Helmets and paired them with 3 snap gradient tint face shields (i.e., I opted for the Bell Custom 500 Skratch Deluxe LE and the Pinstripe Helmets). Great product, nice retro look and at a great price. Thanks Motorcycle Superstore!

I was really looking forward to this helmet. I loved the retro look and the custom paint. The quilted lining was reminiscent of an Italian helmet that I had years ago. The price was right, but it just didn't fit. I've been wearing Shoei in xxl and they're perfect for fit. The Bell 500 just wouldn't go. Too tight.

I was looking forward to getting the helmet, but somewhat disappointed when it arrived. The XL, which is what I always wear in other helmets was a bit larger than I like. The helmet was very bubble like and caught a lot of air.
Great for the sale price, better than I usually get..

I admit I bought this helmet because at the sale price of ~$50 it was just in my normal range. The graphics looked a bit fancy for me but it is what they had in my size at this price, and I thought what the heck I could always paint it. Well, when I got it, my mind changed. Yes, it was a great price but the graphics look really cool. The impressions much better, more custom in person than in the photos. I really like it, a much better helmet than I usually buy, at a great price.
