This helmet is better made than I was lead to believe. If you buy the chin curtain it is quiet, and the wind stays out. At higher speeds it is still OK. They do run a little small, hurts the top of my head after an hour or so. Outside of that a bargain.

The helmet is good but the shield system is the biggest piece of junk I've ever seen. Shield does not seal well which makes it very noisy, over 45 mph it closes on its own will not stay open. My shield blew right off at 75 mph and was run over by a tractor trailer, this was great 2000 miles from home. I wouldn't take another one of these helmets if they gave it to me.

Ordered this for two reasons:First...price. When they lowered it to $80 I figured give it a shot. Second...the chromatic shield fits it and also costs more than the helmet. Fit is ok and it stays put. I can tell it is of lesser quality but I have taken some long rides and with no discomfort. I like it a lot with the chromatic shield. Would I take it across country? Don't think so as it feels cheap but around Oregon and riding in general it's a good deal, especially with that lens.
I won't buy for price again.

This helmet looks good but I experienced a couple of serious problems. First: after wearing the Bell Revolver for just an hour my forehead really started to hurt. So much so that I had to stop and take a break after an hour and a half. Second: the face shield to too loose! At highway speeds the wind lifts it all the way up! Not good! Also, the breath deflector prevents the chin bar from raising all the way. (Maybe the EVO fixes these issues, but I can't wear this thing.)

I loved this helmet, it was my favorite... but after a year, it's falling apart. First a piece of plastic came out of the hinge area. No idea what it was for, but it didn't seem to affect anything. Then the left latch wouldn't latch. I dripped some oil in there and that fixed it. Then the chin bar won't stay up - the screws keep loosening. Finally, the slider lever on the top of the helmet just flew off while I was riding, leaving me unable to move the inner shield up or down.

Yes it's kind of noisy but it has area by the ears for wearing earplugs or earphones and installing speakers. I didn't get any water inside when riding in Seattle rain all last winter, and believe me there were some torrential rain storms! As for my complaint - the strap has a magnet to attach back to the D-ring in a loop. I've noticed at freeway speeds the loop catches the wind and pulls the D-ring to the outside, loosening the strap! I now tuck the strap under my chin.

Helmet is okay for price, you get what you pay for, right? That being said, this helmet is ok. You cant ride in the rain because the water will get in... the face shield broke by itself within the first month. It fits good and i recommend it for 79.99 by the way i paid 100

Same complaint as everyone else: this is the loudest helmet I own and I have 3 others. The thing is noisy that it's impossible to use with a headset. The sunshield doesn't store completely away into the helmet. Only thing that this helmet has going for itself is that the design looks good. I'd say this helmet is fine for getting around in town where you aren't going at high speeds.
Good helmet for the price

I bought this helmet for casual riding. Even though it is a good helmet, it is very noisy. On some days, I actually get a headache and or takes 30 min for me to get my sanity back after riding it. Helmet is bit heavy (and I mean heavy because of the hinges, being modular). I did order another open face and full face helmet. Lately I have not used this one that much.
