This is a great economical, high quality helmet. It IS a DOT helmet, so that means it is overall much larger than a novelty helmet, a little "mushroom-ish" but that's not a real problem. The pull down shield is good, except if you have an average size nose, the shield can bump into it if the helmet is not situated just right. The correct size does fit very snug at first, but after some break-in time, it feels very comfortable. I think it was a good purchase and have no regrets buying it.

I recently purchased a Cruiser and wanted a half helmet. I wear corrective lenses and wanted a helmet with a retractable half visor. This helmets visor actually cleared my glasses. I only wish there was an easy way to mount a communicator to it. Both my wife and I have this helmet and I believe it was the best choice for the cost for us. It would be cool if it also had zip off ear cover. I would also appreciate some iridium replacement shield options. Great helmet

I purchased two of these, one for the wife and one for me. They fit snug and ride high on the head so feeling top heavy is a reality. Wind noise is normal for a 3/4. Overall a good decision and we love the retractable visor feature. Would buy again.

I guess you always take a gamble when ordering through the mail. The helmet is a beautiful design and has great features. The problem I have is that the interior foam caused it to sit very high on my head. Even though the helmet is not excessively heavy it still causes my head to feel top heavy. I know that it's designed to meet and exceed DOT safety standards but I will still look for something that has a better overall uniform fit.

That I have two of them, black and slate. I like the fit; I like the fact that you can switch the visor with relative ease. The visor on this version covers more area then competitors. I also have the IS-33 for cold weather use.

Very well made helmet. I recommend ordering one size larger than usual, as it runs small. Comfortable and light. Only drawback: quite a bit of wind noise across the ears. I would still buy this one again.
