Poor fit. Nice features.

I purchased this for snowmobiling. This helmet is very uncomfortable. There is minimal padding inside (its mostly Styrofoam). The helmet is cheap and is beginning to fall apart after only 2 seasons. There are 2 nice things about this helmet. It doesn't leak. The vents are easily operated with gloves on. I recommend you buy a different helmet.

I chose this over the comparable Shoei due to a lower price, shortly after I wished I had gone with the Shoei. This helmet is okay, but gives me a lot of wind noise. A real whistle that won't go away. Fit and finish are good The chin release button broke, Scorpion sent me a new button right away. I don't recommend this product.

I'll start with the cons: SUPER tight fit. Doesn't break in all that well. I've gotta wear a 3X in most helmets, and this 3X is too tight. SUPER loud whistling sound at speeds 30mph and higher. It's really aggravating, and kills my ability to really think at all. The Pros: Some cool features like the shade visor. The main visor never fogs up, and that's great for riding here in the Pacific NW. I'm not satisfied with this purchase. I'll probably try and send this back.

This is a great helmet! I needed to replace my old modular and was looking for something that would work well in Washington's wet/cold weather but still be comfortable in the summer. This is the helmet! The fit is mostly good, but I did have some pressure point issues at the jawline. The padding is beginning to give and overall I'm really pleased with the fit. Everything else about this helmet is top notch!

2nd one and still loving it.

Love the modular design. Fairly quiet when riding (around 70mph). Fits snug when you first get it but breaks in well. Had a small problem with the visor when I first got it but the customer support is quick and responsive. This is my second EXO-900 and I will buy another when this one wears out.

Heads-up!

No pun intended, but this helmet is heavy. Really heavy. If you do short, casual rides no problem. But...if you are stressing your neck under 'crotch-rocket' forces or just enjoy long cruises I would keep on looking. Too bad because all the features are useful and easy to use even though I found the inflatable liner had little value and the noise factor on the high side for my liking. In summary, this helmet will be a good value for some, and a disappointment for others.

This is my second Scorpion Helmet. My first was a 3/4 open face which I loved. I got this hybrid for winter scootering. I like it overall, you can't beat the price. It feels a bit snug when I close up the full face but it will get better with wear. It does fog my glasses up at stoplights, but cracking the visor a bit fixed that. I'd recommend this helmet.

In the local dealer I tried on a bunch of helmets. I turned to the EXO-900. Some of the cheaper modular helmets really do feel cheap. The difference in material, fit, and finish between something like a Bell Revolver and this helmet is indescribable. I have both helmets. The Bell is my backup in case something catastrophic happens to my EXO-900. When the time comes to replace this lid, unless Nolan or Arai make something more comfortable for my head, I'll buy another!

I enjoy the comfort and feel of the helmet, good air flow; anti-fog visors have come in handy more than once. If you wear glasses I would suggest you get some type of anti-fog lens cleaner. Again good product, did my research watched the videos and glad I purchased such a phenomenal helmet.
