Bought my first pair in 2008, still have them. Except for where the sun faded the coloring on the fingers and where I pull them off (probably the reason for the fading) they still fit like a custom pair made directly from Italy. I have worn them in the rain, cold, and heat and they cool my hands very well keep me warm in semi cold but in mild to average temps. They are the very best gloves you can buy and will continue to buy Alpinestars products.

Great product from Alpinestars. My hands are important to my job as a paramedic, so I decided to invest good money into these gloves. At first, they were extremely tight. But once they were broken in, they were still snug but dexterity was awesome. You want a glove to fit snug and these are just that. Great protection, great feel of the throttle and very good ventilation for the hot months that Texas has. Would highly recommend them to anybody.

Counter to what I read in other reviews of these gloves the sizing seems to run big, at least for me. I normally wear a Medium size glove in various other brands and needed a Small in this glove to fit properly. I'm 5'11", 170lbs and wear size 9 or 9.5 shoes to give you some idea of sizing. I bought these because I wanted the extra protection of the injection-molded plastic forearm/wrist guard. This is really the main benefit over similar gloves in the $250-$300 range. None of the local stores carry these gloves so I had never seen them first hand until I received them from MSS. I was very pleasantly surprised with the construction, protection, and feel of these gloves compared to similarly priced gloves I was able to look at locally. The gloves break in very quickly and offer great feel through the handle bars. Overall, I'm very happy with these gloves and would recommend them if you are looking for gloves in this price range.

I have to say these are the best dam gloves I have ever owned. They break in super fast. They are super durable. This is my second pair. My first pair lasted four years of hard riding. You get what you pay for. Love these gloves!

These are great gloves, they feel very durable and have some nice features. But I would say they fit a size too big. I always wear a size Large in everything but the gloves shift forward leaving a finger nail gap of wiggle room. So, I should have gone with a size Medium. They are also very stiff and thick, which it's going to take me a while to break them in. But all-an-all if you’re a serious racer then you need some serious gloves.
