Sidi On Road Gore-Tex Boots

Sidi, continuously researching new technological solutions to enhance rider safety, is proud to present the On Road Gore-Tex boot. With Sidi’s great style, feel, support and quality there are no finer performance off road boots in the world.

Non-Bootie Designs: Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome; add to the boot’s thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider’s performance and comfort.

Gore-Tex: Striving for peak performance? Whether it’s a day on a wet track, a long distance tour through all types of conditions, or simply pursuing your everyday adventures, Sidi GORE-TEX® lined boots will help you get there. Designed to provide comfort and protection, Sidi GORE-TEX® boots keep your feet dry, even when you encounter snow, or rain. Each Sidi GORE-TEX® boot is totally waterproof to keep moisture from penetrating inside, yet incredibly breathable to allow sweat to escape.

This high breathability is critical to your comfort because, simply put, sweaty feet are uncomfortable feet. Inside waterproof boots that are not breathable, moisture builds up and has nowhere to go. It then remains trapped against your skin, leaving your feet clammy, uncomfortable, and more prone to develop blisters. This can be even more of a problem in high aerobic activities because the more active you are, the more your feet sweat — we’re talking up to one full cup of water a day! Sidi’s GORE-TEX® lined boots is specifically designed to provide comfort and protection on a hard ride or for longer rides when the weather is warmer.

The patented GORE-TEX® bootie is where it all starts. Nestled between the boot’s outer top grain leather and the inner liner, this bootie keeps water out while letting your perspiration vapor escape. As part of Sidi’s waterproof guarantee, EVERY bootie and boot produced is tested for waterproofness and breathability. And, to make sure the whole boot breathes the way it should, all leather and other textile materials used to construct Sidi GORE-TEX® boots are tested for breathability as well. So go on — take that extra step. Take it in total comfort because you’re wearing Sidi GORE-TEX® boots!

I would pay $425 for these boots. Many waterproof boots I've owned claim to be waterproof, but at best they've been water resistant not proof. The Sidi On Road boots are 100% waterproof and all day comfortable on and off the bike. I wear a size 12 boot/shoe and ordered a 47/12-12.5 which are a bit loose but very comfortable. I wear thick socks while riding and my feet are comfortable whether it's 50 F or 90 F. On my way home from a Keweenaw Peninsula motorcycle trip I rode through 600 miles of rain and tornado weather-I could see and feel streams of water hitting my boots, only to have 100% dry feet at the end of the trip. My fellow riders, you can't put a price on that.

Great boots - recommended!

I have large feet, and know from years of bicycling that a Sidi shoe size 50 does the trick. So when I took up motorcycling in 2008, I went straight to a Sidi boot size 50. I live in the Pacific NW where it rains a bit quite often. Since I am commuting most days on my BMW R1150RA, I needed a waterproof durable boot. I opted for the Sidi On Road Gore-Tex boot. The On Road is a tall boot and I was initially worried it would be troublesome putting on and off - that turned out not to be the case: the boot is not really difficult at all, just takes a bit longer than a zipper boot. Adjustability with the velcro straps is excellent, and I have no problem tucking my pants into the boots. They are quite roomy in the foot area and I have sorted that out with a Superfeet insole. I am quite often wearing the boots for half a day when I am attending meetings at a facility where I don't have a change of clothes - the boots are comfortable, not too warm. All in all I would recommend these boots for waterproof commuting and touring!

Nice looking and good fit, yet lacking in features.

Theses are great looking and seem like they might be waterproof (have yet to ride in the rain). No break in needed, slightly loose for the size, need an extra sock for perfect walking comfort, which is fine since I live in a moderately cold climate and need the extra space/sock for cold rides. Very comfortable overall.

I wear a wide size 15(4E or 5E) shoe. These boots 14.5 fit me with boot socks on. They are very stiff when new. I had trouble getting neutral at first because I could not feel the neutral indent. As they have been breaking in it has gotten much better. I like the four straps on the side that let me “customize” the fit on my foot/lower leg from the ankle to calf. I am leary of the plastic loops that the straps attach to. I expected and would have preferred metal especially on a $325 boot. Over all I am happy with these boots especially since I have not been able to find a grownup sized boot anywhere else.

These boots are everything they say. They fit like a glove with a little adjusting of the upper straps ( they’re made to go around the pants). They could use so different insoles for added cushion. As a hole the boots are great!

I have had the boots for a month now and have had the opportunity to use them in heavy rain several times. These are GREAT boots! I commute over 36 miles each way on my Dyna Wide Glide and these boots continue to impress me! They are a little loose in the calf area, but that is ok when really bending the ankle. I wear a size 14 and am really happy about how lightweight these boots are. A little on the expensive side, but have kept my feet warm and dry. Motorcycle Superstore was easy and efficient to deal with as well!

Be careful of size when ordering the Sidi boot

I normally wear a size 12 boot. To be safe I ordered a size 13. I couldn't get my foot into it. I returned the size 13 and ordered the biggest ones they make (size 14 1/2). Still couldn't get my foot into the boot. I'm not talking "tight" here, I literally could not even get my foot into the boot. Also, on closer examination of the boot, the calves appear very narrow. I would not order this boot unless I had relatively skinny legs and wore a very narrow shoe. Even then, I would order at least two sizes too large to be safe.

I actually bought and returned these boots. They are heavy duty for sure. Almost reminds me of a slimmed down moto-x boot. I wasn't looking for something quite this bulky, but I'm sure they would keep your feet well protected and dry. ALso, I have a pair of SIDI B-2 boots in sz. 45, so I ordered these the same and they run a little larger.

I did a lot of research before buying these boots. They are the bomb. I recently rode two hrs through a deluge and boots stayed dry. Only problem is I ride a cruiser and my feet are a little forward on the pegs and the rain came up under my Frogg Toggs pant leg and got my jeans damp above the boot! These are quality. I like the 2 stage straps which allow you to go with quicker or more secure approach. They are comfortable to walk around in although I wouldn’t go hiking in them. I wear a size 9 US and ordered the equiv of 8.5. Perfect so if you're in between like I was go with the half size smaller.
