Bought these based on recommendations made by a friend I ride with. Boots I had were hot in summer and wanted something with protection and more breathable. These were the right choice and fit was great, order to your normal size. Cost was more than I wanted to pay, but you get what you pay for.

I bought the Slash boots recently because my older Sidi Dohas, which fit my narrow feet like a glove, eat shoes laces like crazy. The SLASH boots look and vent great! The Slash fits well on the bottom, but too big/tall on the instep for me and I think way too big on the top/ankle part for anyone in an EU 44 size. Bottom line from me, they slop around when I walk, but they are acceptable on the bike, easy to get on and off and BREATHE great!
It's a tight squeeze in the Sidi

I normally wear a size 12 boot and when I ordered these shoes, they were only available in a 12 1/2. Thankfully, I got the half size larger, because it is necessary when considering the width of the shoe. I would have preferred knowing ahead of time that Sidi's Slash shoe is only available in a narrow width; I probably would have looked at something else. Having said that, the shoes are very well made and once they get on, they are comfortable and give you a good feel of the shifter and brake pedals. I would recommend them, but with the caveat that people who have a wide foot consider doing more research before purchasing this model.

I wear them two days a week to get used to them, on the motorcycle they work great, comfortable and very nice on the shifting. I live in Venezuela so the climate is very hot, the vents in the shoes are good and don´t really feel my feet very hot, so that´s not the problem. The fitting of the shoes is strange, I bought them a little bigger, but my pinky still touches the boot. My vintage R100RS BMW 1978 is able to get them really warm, expensive and not very comfortable to walk in.

These shoes fit well and breathe even better. You can feel the wind directly on your feet sometimes. Well, through your socks anyway. Also, I have worn them all day and they have been comfortable. The only problem: They fit your foot well but not necessarily your ankle. I wish the velcro flap were adjustable so it could tighten around your ankle. It's not a big deal for me but it would make the shoe perfect.

The only knock on the SIDI Slash Riding Shoes is you need a shoe horn to get into them, once on they fit like a glove, Should come with a shoe horn.

Made well but does not have enough support at the ankle part. Love the shoes but will try some others (Alpinestar ).
