SG3 Gloves

I've had these gloves for about a year now and have had no complaints. The fitment is good, they needed to stretch out a bit to fit perfectly (just like soccer cleats) but my pair stretched out with normal use during rides. I've used my pair of SG3's for road use and one track day so far. After two all day rides in the mountains of NC and 50 laps at Carolina Motorsports Park my hands were not uncomfortable. The leather is pliable enough to allow unrestricted movement without compromising safety. The biggest selling points for me were gauntlet style and the scaphoid protection. I bought these for 80/20 track/road use and have been very satisfied so far.

summer gloves

Great airflow. I use thicker gloves once the temp goes below 55 because the airflow is that good on these.

Great gloves!

They are snug right out of the package but I followed the measurements and am very happy. Solid protection but still get some air flow. Would by them again.

Good sporty gloves, but far from perfect

1st off - these feel durable, breathe well, and are comfortable enough after break-in. The fingers are a touch long, but that's almost necessary because the fingers are not boxed, and the seams are internal. If the fingers were shorter, the seams would bother my fingertips. Even now, they're just ok. Worse was that for my first couple weeks with them, my knuckles would be sore from the underside of the knuckle protectors. After break-in, they're fine. Otherwise, I've been happy with these. A couple of improvements would make these great gloves. Despite my complaints these are my daily commuting gloves, replacing a pair of leather gauntlets and a pair of mesh/leather gloves that I feel would be shredded if I had an off at freeway speeds.

Great potential

Bought these gloves at the beginning of last summer (Not online). Wore them for 4 months, then switched to my winter pair. Broke them out again in March and now (July 1) the seams are completely coming apart. The fit was nice, and the plastic protection was in all the right places, but the quality is the poorest I have ever seen from any glove. For the price, I would expect more then 8 months of usable wear before needing replaced. This is not the 1st scorpion product that has (recently) started falling apart faster then usual. Not sure if it is just my luck or if quality control has gone downhill.

Quality Materials, very warm

The materials on these gloves are superb. The liner is soft and very warm, the leather is supple, and the textile portions are very durable. The fingers do feel a little mushy when riding, but it is to be expected when wearing an insulated glove. I would recommend these gloves to a friend!
