I did the research and knew what I was buying

I knew I was going to have to move my tail lights, I knew that I was going to have to drill holes and now that it's all done, I wish I would have bought the large. I'm not sure about the durability, I just finished installing them and loaded the bags. They feel solid for a leather bag. I used the spacer so they sit straight up and down and I like that they sit away from the bike a little. Nice smooth lines, great addition to my VT1100C. It adds to the look of the bike for sure.

Too much work

I bought what I thought were good quality semi hard bags with hard backs and the needed hardware to install without paying 2-1/2 hours of labor @$70.00 P/H plus the needed modification of my rear signal lights on my 02 Honda 1800VTXC. A big mistake, buying Leather like Bags or better quality throw bags, would have been the best route for me to have taken.

A bit over rated and poor clousers

I thought that these bags would have a better closing lid and means of securing it, other than the one poorly made plastic and nylon strap.
