Oil Filter

To filter the life blood of your engine ( the oil ) I run Bikemaster oil filters on both of my bikes. The fit, performance and quality are excellent. Give them a try and you will use them always.

What the fast guys use

Switched from using the K&N oil filters to this. All of the fast guys at the track use these and I read somewhere that hiflo used to make the k&n filters before k&n moved production to china. I put this hiflo filter on right before a track weekend and it did great! Can't beat the price either.

Gasget to large

The gasket was at least 1/8" or bigger and couldn't even get the screws to touch the nuts on the base of the filter. I had to cut down the lip on both sides of the filter and then it was a lot of trouble to get it to catch. Once I got the screws started I got the top to seal with the bottom. To test if there was a air leak I wrapped some rags together and then put a plastic bag around them. Started up the bike plugged the inlet and the bike chocked and quit. No leaks!! The ebay vendor give me my money back and keep the filter. I sent some pics to another vendor and asked him to compare what he has,no reply. I believe it's a good product but I'm wondering if this could have been a second that had this flaw? Only my opinion When the bike was running it did seem to have a lot of air being sucked in. I haven't really given it a test yet. Safe ridding.
