Alpinestars-Women's Stella Jacket

I was worried that this jacket might be confining, but was delighted to find it was quite the opposite! I don't even notice I'm wearing it, the fit and contouring are perfect for a woman's shape and are perfectly engineered for riding. I feel like the armor is more than adequate. I bought this jacket specifically for high temp riding in HI, and it really does feel like a cool breeze (when moving) providing plenty of air flow. I am consistently a size medium, with broad shoulders and long arms, and this jacket fits perfectly! I also LOVE the easily accessible pockets!

A++

I purchased this jacket over a year ago and it is perfect fit for a woman. It is comfortable whether you are the rider or a passenger and is just warm enough for riding temperatures in PA. Worth every penny and more. I have slightly longer arms than the average person and the sleeves on this were perfect. It is long enough it comes down to my hips and doesn't sit at my waist like some jackets I tried on did. The handwarmer pockets are great if you are riding passenger on a chilly fall day.

Love it!

This jacket is great! It is the perfect combination of a feminine fitting jacket but also a practical one.

Nice Jacket!

Very nicely fitted jacket for ladies with curves! My wife wanted a jacket that didn't look like any old 'guys' jacket and this one fits the bill nicely. High quality design, nice white accents, she loves it! She says it's very comfortable and ordered a size up from what their sizing chart recommends.

Great fit, very comfortable and looks great.

I purchased this jacket in advance of a trip to Hawaii this winter - I had wanted a summer riding jacket for a while and the trip gave me some extra motivation. I took a chance on sizing and ordered a M, and it fits perfectly. I am 5'9", approx 140lbs and have relatively long arms and this jacket fit me perfectly - I typically order M for most outerwear and this was true to size. The snaps on the waist allows me to snug it up too if I need. I was worried the arms would be too wide/large, as many textile jackets are too big for women's forearms/biceps but this jacket is nice and sleek looking/feeling, without being tight. Without the liner, the jacket allows for a lot of airflow, esp on those warm Hawaii days. I found it a bit cool in the higher elevations, so I zipped in the removable liner which helped block the wind. The liner is a bit like a rain jacket, so it's not too breathable but that's what it's supposed to do. I haven't tested it in the rain, but I am sure it would help a bit, albeit not totally waterproof. The only thing missing would be a warmth liner, but then I suppose you'd just wear a normal textile or leather jacket if the weather was a bit cooler. Overall, I'm really pleased with the way this jacket fits and looks, and it's very functional too.

Nice jacket

I am 5'8", 132lbs, 9-10/M, but bought this coat in L and it fit perfect. The armor is heavy duty. The mesh is durable. I have worn it in the rain with the liner and it's been waterproof and then dries super-fast. The only negative is the zipper has a little trouble getting over the white stripe at chest level. Overall I really like this product. I am pleased with the Alpinestars products when it comes to riding protection.

sleek profile, snug fit

Generally very happy with this jacket, however, I'm a passenger, and the venting design really only works in the rider's position. If you feel happy moving your arms around you can get the benefit of the airflow, but if you're holding the back bar it will get very warm in this jacket. Also, a back vent would have been nice.
