Throtle control

This cruise control unit works pretty well on my Honda 1800 VTX. It doesn't hold the speed over a long distance, but does so for long enough periods to give my throttle hand and wrist a rest. That was why I got it. Proof of my satisfaction might be that this is the second unit I have purchased. I had the first one on a Suzuki 1500cc Intruder. Last thought; I needed another 3/32" on the extension for the lock arm so I added two ss washers and it worked fine.

Tracker bar

Look well made..helps make the bike stand apart from other Shadow Spirits, and black takes some of too much chrome away. Fit was good. Riding position is now more forward leaning than sit up cruiser like it used to be.

Oh, yeah! It really is the CrampBuster!

I commute about 25 miles to work and this thing rocks. I never do enough open road to really justify a true throttle lock. This is a very happy compromise. About half of my commute time is city and about 3/4 of the way to work I would start having to deal with "NumbThumb" syndrome. The CrampBuster fixed it! Of course, nothing is without its price. If in the correct position for riding I find myself involuntarily gunning the engine during breaking. Its just something you have to get used to. Easy to install and reposition. Were I to hit the trails, I would not remove it. I would just rotate it down. The amazing thing is that it does not seem to slip and de-adjust itself on my stock 2007 KLR-650 grips. This is such a cheap and good solution. I would recommend this for anyone who does any street riding. When you hit the open road, you just rotate it up. It moves that way really easy. Moving it down, however is more difficult. This is an amazingly simple and cheap solution to the problem.

Finally I have found the right grips.

I had grips like this years ago and they disappeared from the market. Thank goodness Biltwell, a group of motorcyclist, brought them back. They fill your hand and relieve the clenched fist feeling of the small stock type of grips. They are stretchy enough to fit easily over the throttle tube and locked nicely on its ribs. I would recommend these grips to anyone who rides alot. I am going to buy another set for my other bike. They are great. Thank you, Biltwell.

Great looking risers

The parts are great. But no one bothered to tell you that you need the bolts for the risers. Over all great looks and great fit.
