Bulky Armor But Watertight!

The pants are solid and sturdy, providing everything that was promised. They proved to be watertight in some serious rain, but the pads are incredibly thick and bulky, which surprised me. I currently have an Icon Raiden DKR Jacket with D30 armor which is significantly thinner and lighter than the armor in these pants. I also found that they fit fine, unless I am wearing the liner. Once I put the liner in, they were too tight to snap. They were functional, warm and dry.

There are better

I ordered these after reading the positive reviews. I had owned BMW "City Pants" before but I needed a new pair due to some weight gain. I'm 5'7" weight 150 and wear a pants size 12. I ordered the talls and they were barely long enough. I ordered both Med and Lg as I needed for a ride coming up, but sent both back. The Lg fit but were VERY bulky. Definitely run small! I also ordered "Olympia Women's Airglide 3 Mesh Tech" and ended up keeping them. Love them!

Great pants

I was glad to find pants that fit my waist, but I wish the small had been available in long. I ended up buying some rip stop nylon and sewing in a 3" extension at the bottom. I'm 5'-7, 130 pounds. The fit is very adjustable with Velcro, and the protective armor location can be adjusted. Without the liner, they fit well over jeans. Shipping was fast, and the price was fair for such a good quality product.

keeps me warm

I ordered a tall from reading others' comments, and the pants are too long (small-tall). But they're okay when sitting on the bike. I'm 5'2 and 120 lbs, and easily got them over jeans and thermals. The most important thing is I didn't get cold in 41F. That may not seem cold to some of you, but here in FL 41F is cold!

I love these pants!

These pants are great. I can pull them on over yoga pants and go to the gym, feeling warm and protected. I haven't even needed the liner until the temps made it into the upper 20's. I wear jean size 2-4, and the XS (6-8) fits over jeans fine.

Skyline Drive at 38F degrees

Convinced my GF (Sue) to buy these in advance of our trip down SLD/BRP 1st wk of OCT. Luckily she took my advice, as we had 2" of snow and temps of 38F. For riding in the valleys she was able to unzip the leg linings and open the top of the pants side zipper for air flow. Sizing was a little tight over her jeans, but nothing too uncomfortable. She got a LG and we thought because of her height (5'2") they'd be too long, but with her riding boots, they were perfect....

Not too shabby

Got my money's worth. They were too small with the liner in but did great without. Rode 4,500 miles in them.

Good value for the money

These pants fit the bill for what they were intended. Only negative is that they run short. I'm 5'9" and am very glad I ordered the Tall version. With the liner in they feel bulky and somewhat heavy, but they're not designed to go hiking in.Good and warm and windproof.Didn't need the liner above 50F. For the price, I think it's a good buy. If you’re riding to Patagonia, buy an Aerostitch Roadcrafter Suit.

Great Pant

Rode 7300 miles from LA to Artic Cirle in Alaska. Pants were great. Waterproof, we rode in lots of rain, stayed dry and warm. Liner worked good from 34-55 degrees, no liner from 55-75 degrees. They got a little warm between 75-85 degrees. Just unzipped part of the legs at top and stayed cool enough. I would recommend these pants, well worth the money.

These pants didn't work for me

I loved everything about these pants (fit, quality, look, pockets, price, etc.) except that I couldn't get them on and off over my riding boots. If you don't mind removing your boots whenever you put these pants on or take them off, they're great.

Really nice pants

I bought these for my wife. They're beautiful, very functional and a good price. I'd say sizing is a problem, though. She's just under 5'4" and HWP so I got her a small, which is usually fine. The pants fit her very nicely but the legs were short. When she sat on her bike they rode up, leaving a wide gap between the bottom of the pant leg and the top of her boot. Fortunately Tour Master makes a Small-Tall version which are a couple inches longer We exchanged the SM for the SMT and she's now ready to ride. I wouldn't consider her a tall person but that's the size she needed. She looks great and loves, loves, loves the pants.
