    Comfort and Support

These have been my boot for the Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado and Arizona BCDR's plus many more shorter rides. Only after the Utah and Colorado back to back rides did I have a problem with serious boot odor. A few dryer sheets and then Odor Eaters did clear it up. Looking quite sad after 6 years of riding but looking forward to several more. Will replace with another of same.

    Comfortable leather boots

Best boots around- much better than the plastic fantastics! They are very comfortable and the fit is spot on.

    Great boot....but...

This boot is the best on the market for comfort and style. Wear with a pair of jeans and ride your cruiser on the street. There is not much protection for track or trail riding, even trail riding you need ankle protection. Buy a can of oil to oil often to keep them waterproof and looking new.

    NOT WATER PROOF

I recently submitted a very good review for these boots, I liked them so much I bought a pair for my wife. Well it finally rained here in California. We took a ride and ended up riding in the rain for 2 hours, when we got home, we both had 2 wet feet. We both have water proof pants, so the water didn't come over the top, actually we where dry everywhere but our feet.

    They leak

As other reviewers noted, they leak at the front part of the sole. This is unacceptable for a product advertised as waterproof. They are soft, warm and comfortable however.

    First Impression

The boots were for my wife. She said they felt great first time wearing them. She walked around with them at home all day and said she could go hiking with them. She likes the old style look to them. The fit is bang on. I know they are expensive, but from the first impressions they are worth it. I'll give you an update later after a ride or two.

    Not waterproof

I've been wearing these boots every day for the past 3 months. I'm pleased with the boot except for one major defect - They're NOT waterproof. Contrary to what the product page and reviews say, after 4 hours riding in heavy rain, the bottom front part of my foot gets wet. The top part of my foot is dry, indicating this is not an issue with water leaking through the top of the boot. Water is leaking through the leather / boot itself, and makes for cold feet and an uncomfortable ride pretty quick.

    Awesome Boots

These boots are great, love em. The perfect balance between street and off road. I use them for dual sport, adventure riding, and street riding. Theyre warm in the cold, theyre water proof, they breathe, they get a little hot in hot weather or if you walk in them, any boot will. Comfortable enough to walk or even a short hike, easy to put on.

    Wow, nice boot

Perfect boot for Enduro riding. Heat and put Sno Seal on them to waterproof. I wish the tread was deeper. I really like this boot.

Great Trials Boots and Fair Price!

They fit true to my usual boot size and are very comfortable on and off the bike. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to others looking for a less stiff Dual Sport/ Trials Boot.

    Very Nice Boot

Super comfortable, great grip. Great boot for Trials as well as Dual Sport. Wouldn't recommend for Moto, not enough ankle support when landing the jumps. I gave a 4 on the appearance only because, once you touch your shift lever or anything for that mater they tend to scuff. A little leather treatment and there as good as new but for the rider who is very much into "the look", might be a problem. Me? Heck, I would rather ride good than look good.

    Comfy!!!!

Incredible craftsmanship. Comfy beyond belief. They are perfectly water tight. Make no mistake, there is significantly less protection than an MX boot. Fit: Length seems true enough, perhaps a 1/4 size long. It is a high volume boot. Meaning if you have bony feet you may swim in these even if the length is correct. Nothing a thick sock couldn't handle. I wear an 11.5 in most shoes and ended up with the 11 (I was swimming in the 12).

    Great

These are my first Gaerne boots. And they are great! I wear a size 10 1/2 sneaker. Ordered the size 10 and they fit perfect. The toe box area was snug at first but now that they have been worn a few hours they really have conformed to my feet. In the past I've worn mx boots sized 11. The 11s were too big. These size 10 gaerne fit my 10.5 foot, I would highly recommend. Motorcycle super store rules.

Had the boots for a couple of weeks now and love them. I ride to work and have worn them all day- no pain. I wear size 13 and they were true to size.

    gaerne trail boot

Have to say I own the balance classic european only boot which is the same look only made of lorica. But the quality workmanship the same. These are waterproof as many times been in rain..And also noted the lorica made ones excellent in winter as they are very warm. Very comfortable. I have 2 pairs of these and one pair of the G adventure boot. You get what you pay for.
