    Product Information

    Icon Tarmac 3 Gloves

Hopefully everyone knows the history of Icon. Who they are, why they do what they do. If not we’ll give you a quick reminder - they came from the dirt (not in a literal sense, literally we came from the gutter and still spend evenings there on occasion). By dirt we mean to say that early childhood was spent running MX bikes through the woods, poaching a ride in a vacant lot, and occasionally, when parents weren’t looking, ripping up the streets of the Midwest. When they turned sixteen they graduated to street bikes and have been running on multiple cylinders ever since.

But the MX aesthetic has never fully left their system and on occasion seeps back into the product line, this time under the name Tarmac 3 glove. All the of the styling from modern MX gloves but built to do battle with an asphalt adversary. Goatskin palm and finger gussets help protect precious digits while mesh and rubber intake vents serve to cool and refresh. True street gloves with the soul of a misspent dirt bike youth.
    • Durable nylon/polyester construction
    • Abrasion resistant premium goatskin palm
    • Pittards® microvent goatskin insert
    • Rolled leather finger tips
    • Leather finger gussets
    • Hi-flow backhand mesh
    • Ram air finger inserts

    Nice Gloves

I know these aren't winter gloves, but they are keeping my hands warm at temp of 44 degrees. Of course I didn't buy them to keep me warm. Bought them to protect my hands. Glove look great!

    Nice Buy

These gloves are nice for the price. They look nice and the price was perfect. The only complaint I have about this is thier comfort because they are a tight fit that I thought would break in after a while and hasn't changed. When worn for extended periods will start to feel that they are digging in your hands and will leave pressure marks sore pressure markings but this goes way quickly.

Love everything about the gloves, but should have gotten a bigger size. Busting out of the ones I have now.

    Icon Tarmac Gloves

Gloves look awesome. I ordered the same size as I had in my Shift Gloves (that I wore out) and felt that they were quite a bit smaller. I have had them for a few months now, and they are finally "bearable" to wear for any length of time. Even though they have broken in, they still feel tight in the stitched areas. I will probably go back to Shift or Speed and Strength for my next pair. Just sayin.

    seems great to me

They were a tight fit but it was more of a snug feeling. I'd rather them be snug than loose and not safe. Seem to be very durable material. Haven't been on too many rides with them but there are no negatives worth mentioning that I can think of so far. Great deal.

    Almost perfect fit

I have had these gloves about a month now and one of the finger cooling fins is coming unglued. It is an easy fix, but still not something I anticipated after a month of daily use. Other than that, the gloves are a good fit. The thumb seems a bit long. The leather padding provides good comfort and grip. They certainly allow air to flow which is nice on a 90 degree day. I would purchase another pair in the future.

    Good looking

Nice glove, although they seem to run small. Have large Olympia gloves, so figured I'd get an XL in Icons, should have gotten 2xl or 3xl. Biggest issue is they seem to be narrow at the wrist and this makes them a bit difficult to get on, don't feel tight once you get them on, just when trying to get them on.

Icon Tarmac 3, good buy, if its on sale for 25$

These gloves are perfect for hot weather, with all the vents and mesh fingers there's plenty of airflow and you can definitely feel it. This glove is definitely worth 25 dollars (I waited till they were half off before I bought them). The only issue I have is, the palms of the hands are one layer of thin leather. I would worry that they wouldn't hold up against any road rash. Good buy though for a cheap sale price.

    Great fit and great price!

I have very large hands so buying gloves are quite difficult for me. If you buy these gloves it is better to go one size larger for a more comfortable fit. These gloves feel and fit awesome though!

sent 2 different sizes and one ripped

they look cool... had mine for 2 days and the material separated at the seam all the way up the side of the glove, got two different size gloves one xl and one xxl, in both gloves the interior stitching was too rough and stuck out thus resulting in major red marks and numbness after a few hours on the road. theres much more efficient and cheaper gloves out there, and i really liked the way they looked..

The gloves cosmetically look awesome, but they have some spots in the glove that dig into the skin of my hand as well as overlapping of material where the hand wraps around the grip. Not the most comfortable job, especially for longer periods of time. However, the glove does get the job done in style. I'm not particularly set on liking the gloves yet, nor do I want to send them back and start the search for another pair that strikes me as something I'd like to own.

Left hand glove fits great, the right hand one is a bit tight. I'm hoping they'll losen up a bit after wearing them.
