Great jacket

This is a great jacket for extreme hot weather riding. It is light and feels like you have only a t-shirt on with the benefit of CE armor in all the right places. Similar to how the Alter Ego is with panels zipped off, but much cooler and lighter even in all black.

Does what it's made for!

I bought this to replace my still good JR Alter Ego. Great for hot days even in all black. Probably won't be much protection in a fall, but it's better than riding with nothing! Fits well and looks good.

Great jacket

Jacket fits well and with the straps (some snap, some Velcro) it is easy to get a snug fit. The mesh breathes very well for those warm days, and the liner though thin adds an amazing amount of warmth for those cooler days. I actually was damp from sweat by the time I arrived at work one day with the liner in even though it was a tad chilly outside. The jacket looks great too, and I hope to never need the armor!

Best Jacket so far

This is with out a doubt the most comfortable, best fitting jacket so far. And does what it’s made for. Keep you cool and protected, of course not as good as leather but I can’t where leather when its 90 degrees out, no matter how many vents it has. Have a few other jackets this is the best. Winter time I’ll be looking at the sonic 2.0 if its anything like this jacket you cant loose. Highly recommend!

Very good air flow.

Great air flow keeps me cool at 90 degrees (even in black), as long as I don't get stuck in stop and go traffic. Straps on forearms make for a snug fit. Jacket also has straps that can connect to belt loops on jeans or to the belt itself, which was a plus

Phoenix 5.0

I got this jacket for the summer. It is a great jacket, fits well, and is something that you can wear no matter where you go. The mesh makes the jacket very cool for summer riding. And the zip out lining can be easily carried in the bags or trunk. I used this jacket to ride to work and on long trips where the temperature was above 101 degrees with no problem. I wish helmets were this cool. In addition the pockets are not only roomy but are easy to get to. The collar is also very well made and does not scratch or bind at the neck. All in all, a very good summer/fall/spring jacket.

Great Jacket

I got mine in yellow for maximum visibility. A friend followed me while driving at night and noted that I really stood out on the road-mission accomplished. When you’re moving, you WILL feel the wind on every part of your upper body with this jacket (after removing the liner of course). If you’re at a stand still, you will also feel a breeze if there happens to be one. The liner is waterproof & an excellent windbreaker; and it actually does provide warmth while cruising in temperatures above 60 degrees.

The Rocket Jacket...Out of this World

The joe rocket jacket has an outstanding fit. Perfect color scheme. Excellent body armor. Will, however upgrade the spine protector. Fabric is really comfortable. Keeps your warm on a cool morning ride and still breathes in warmer weather. Lot a guys like to wear their leather in colder weather. I'll wear my Rocket. RK

Great Jacket

Fits well and appears to be very well made. It is amazingly cool in hot weather and hopefully the bright yellow will make me a little more visible. The two front pockets are pretty good size and have kept my cell phone dry even in the rain. Highly recommended! Great quality for the price!

Total comfort in the heat

The jacket fits great and the air goes right through. I haven't bothered with the liner and probably won't. I've got a jacket for cooler temps. I love the fit and style and the added protection really makes me feel better about commuting daily. I'd definitely buy another.

It's Great for the Summer Heat, Excellent Protection

This product is excellent. I wear in in the summer heat over 90F and it feels cool as the breeze goes through the mesh. I have not wore it in the winter, but it has a liner for the winter months which i am planning on wearing it until November. I fits nice, and it gives you that feeling of protection due to the padding on the back, elbows and shoulders. recommended for the summer, it's a great jacket but for the bone chilling cold you may want to put a sweater underneath it, but i think with the windproof liner it will still keep you warm.

I really like this jacket

I bought this jacket because I needed a light weight jacket so I could ride in the Texas heat. It has been well over 100 degrees this summer and this jacket has been a life saver. It comes with a removable liner that is pretty easy to remove. That comes in handy when it becomes a little cooler. So far durability is good. I am rough on my things and after a few months it is holding up well. Plenty of pockets and a stylish look make it a real good buy for the price. I highly recommend this jacket.
