Why Buy a Heated Motorcycle Vest?

You must have flash installed.

If you would like to extend your riding season into the chilly winter months, check out our selection of cold weather heated vests. A battery powered heated vest can help you overcome the frigid temps and winds you may face out on the road. While a vest will not provide the same coverage and warmth as a heated jacket, vests are great for those who may not always ride in the most extreme conditions, but still want the added comfort and heat these vests provide. Heated motorcycle clothing and gear are made to be fully integrated whether you are using heated gloves, heated pants or both. Brands like Venture, Tour Master and Firstgear offer full lines of heating products for you to choose from depending on how adventurous your riding is.

Powering heated gear may not be as daunting as you may think. There are two options when it comes to powering your new gear; one is by using rechargeable battery packs, the other is by connecting directly to your motorcycle’s battery. If this is your first piece of heated gear, Motorcycle Superstore has all the heated gear accessories you’ll need to stay warm and toasty in frosty conditions. From adapters and connectors to heating control units, you’ll find it all here making Motorcycle Superstore your destination for all cold weather riding gear.

Never hesitate to talk to a gear expert by live chat to make sure you get what you need.

Replaced original wiring harness

I had to replace my original power harness since it had unknowingly dragged on the pavement and ground off my power terminal for my heated vest. I was happy to find that it was available as a separate part at a very reasonable price.

So Far no problems.

I bought this to replace the GERBING'S dual mounted controller as I had gone through 3 in 8 years. I have the controls mounted next to ignition switch on my Honda GL1800. The problem with the Gerbing units was a lack of weather proofing and they would short when riding in the rain. So far these have performed without problem and I have rain tested them.

A Must Have!

I have had my vest for over 5 years and always seem to need it in early am temps below 60 degrees. I usually only need the low setting after about 10 minutes on high. An unexpected bonus was the soothing warmth it provided to my sore back area while riding on a 5 hour trip! A great value for the price that packs up well and is always in my saddlebag.

So Far, So Good!

I bought this along with a "Firstgear 6in SAE Connection to DC Coax Jack Adapter" to use on the rear SAE battery tender connection on my '03 Honda CBR600RR. I haven't had it for long, nor have I tested it in rain, etc... However, it's worked great so far. Even with the connection adapter, it successfully charges my iPhone! =]

Safe & Simple

I bought this along with a "Gears Gen X-3 Female Cigarette Lighter Plug Adapter." I bought this for an ’03 Honda CBR600RR with a rear SAE battery tinder connection. The adapter is small, simple, and durable. It works as expected! Know that the adapter comes with some sort of warning (not listed on the website) regarding fuses. My riding buddies double-checked stuff and said it was nothing to worry about. I’ve successfully charged my phone numerous times!
