Great tire for mostly all conditions in upstate SC

I've ran this tire for years on a variety of bikes in the SC/NC mountains. It hooks up GREAT for the variety of conditions; rocks, Hardpack, and mud. The life seems to be really good too, holds up without chunking. Eventually the corners will round after riding too much hardpack. It also will feel like the rear end will wander a little bit in sand, but again, for a large variety of terrain, it works great.

puts up with my abuse :)

I've always had bad luck when it came to putting new tires on. its pretty tough but I managed. It grips very well in dirt, sand, grass, mud, and even asphalt! I would totally recommend this to a friend!

Big improvement over stock MX51. Can't try new MX32 and MX52, because they don't make a 100/100x18. Love the traction and wear!

We have tried Dunlop, Pirelli, Michelin and a few others that chunk out and lose knobs. The m403 and m404 hold up very well and have great traction. These are the best tire for the buck period, unless you're a sponsored pro and get free tires that are changed out after every race.

Bridgestone 404 Intermediate Rear

Great tire. Very sticky on hardpack and rock, no chunking so far, better in soft sand than expected, great all-round tire. Taller profile makes turn-in easier, holds an edge well, very impressive cornering grip. One of the best, if not the best. 404's are easily as good or better than the Dunlop MX51/31/71 and Michelin SC12 I have on other bikes.

Bridgestone 404 & 403

Great tires! I ride 2012 KTM 300 xcw. Came stock with Dunlop's MX51's (good tires), but the Bridgestone's are slightly better in my opinion, also slightly cheaper than the Dunlop's. M/C Superstore has great prices on tires, but you still have to get them on.

Bridgestone 404/403 combo

Tire set good on prepped MX track, good in the ruts. Overall good tire. Not for unprepped, hardpack corners, 404 rear wont hold. Doesn't clean well in deep mud sections, traction goes away quickly.

Great all around tire

I've been using these for about five years now. Tread life is a little short, but that's an intermediate tire.
