SAVED MY LIFE ~ worth the $$$

the extra steel saved my life I truly believe, riding w/unseasoned rider... who cause accident. Forced to lay mine down & slide. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT HIGHLY ENOUGH. Easy to mount, heavy. Looks good BA really, recognizably bigger when beside other bikes, major cool points!! I'll give it 5 stars only because 6 isn't an option. ORDERING MY 2nd one NOW and one for my daughter as well.

Must Have

Like all the other reviews I would not be with out these "Highway" bars! Great place to attach pegs, tip over protection but most of all I use them to attach Desert dawgs Lowers. These handy covers fit on the bar and protect from wind rain and cold. I had the standard 1/4 bar on my old VL 1500 LC but when with the Fatty bar for my C90T and Love it!!! This was first on my upgrade / Mod list.

So close to perfect,

Wish I could say these were totally awesome and a snap to install, but, the bolt holes were not correct. Got them to fit right after I repaired one hole by buying $47 in bolts and a heli-coil tool and had to use a tie-down to squeeze the case guard smaller so the holes were in the correct locations. The button head bolts' sockets stripped out due to softness. Get hex heads!

Baron Engine guard

I have installed engine guards on many bikes over the years by myself and these were the most difficult to install, ever! It took 2 people to install these. The upper mounts were perfect, no issues. However the lower mounts were not manufactured properly and it took 2 of us, a piece of 2 x 4 and all the strength we had to spread the lower mounting bracket so it would fit properly.
