no pain!

I bought this neck roll because I love to ride with my boyfriend, but I have a bad neck, so I was always in pain at the end of even a short ride. Now that I use the neck roll, no pain! Even on a four-day ride!

Good Product

Like others, I have severe neck problems, but will not give up riding. This neck roll has really helped add stability to my neck and relieve fatigue on longer rides. It does not bind at all and does not rotate or slip around my neck. At highway speeds and beyond, my helmet rests on the neck roll and completely relieves the fatigue I normally had. I ride a sport bike and have noticed a little restriction in movement, but I have learned to compensate. I would definately recommend this product to anyone with neck injuries or anyone who suffers from fatigue on long rides.

Buy neck protection immediately!

Very good product for only $40.00. I am amazed when I have my helmet on how good it feels when my head is actually stopped from over-rotation by the brace instead of being unrestricted. If you can't afford a $300.00 neck brace, definitely buy one of these-in a crash it could very well save your neck.

CRUISING WITH A BROKEN NECK

I enjoy riding my motorcycle but after 5 surgeries on my spine it has been difficult until now. Since I purchased the Alpinestars neck roll I am able to once again enjoy riding. As a matter of fact, I just returned from a 1730 mile tour of the southwest. The neck roll steadies my helmet so I get very little jarring from the wind. The Alpinestars neck roll has truly enriched my life.

Great Idea

I’m thinking of buying a neck protector as my full face helmet is getting heavy with lights & cameras attached to it.(Downhill & Cross Country MTB AT NIGHT!!!) This is a great idea & my chiro says it’s a good thing to have the weight supported more on my shoulders.

Does what it needs for CHEAP

This neck collar does what it needs (although it does not have hyper-extension protection as there is no padding in the front). Sadly though after 2-3 weekends of racing the Velcro is ripped completely off and will soon have to re-sew. Overall I give it a 3.5/5

Good to have around

My neck roll is actually one of the original EVS RC1 collars, which is the exact same design as this A-Stars collar. Whichever brand/model it is, these neck supports are great at keeping excess movement controlled in bail offs and tough bumps. Was riding an unfamiliar trail without this and hit a log and tweaked my neck. Went back a few days later wearing this, hit a different log and felt the helmet bounce off. May have saved me a few hours of pain right there.

Strap Problems...

I too, have a creaky neck problem! The front strap tends to slip down, perhaps some more Velcro would do the job! The strap does not stay in place, and soon gets cock-eyed on my neck.
