Excellent overall. Fit is true to size. Same adjustable ratchet system used for their biking products. I along with many of my friends wear Sidi mountain bike shoes. No complaints of durability of the ratchet strap after hundreds of rides over many years. Sole is grippy on all surfaces and stiff but not overly stiff. Not risen in the rain yet but we all know the positive history of GoreTex products. A bit pricey. But you get what you pay for.
Good looking boot. Easy to get on and off. I would recommend them to my friends.
I bought these to wear in hotter weather as an option to my water proof adventure boots. Boots fit pretty true to size. I'm normally a 10 and these fit great in a 10. A bit roomy rather than snug, which helps keep the feet cooler. They are stiff, but break in quick. I put insoles in them and they are comfortable enough to walk around in. Bear in mind they are riding boots. Not running shoes. So yes, they're somewhat stiff and bulky, but thats due to being made more for protection. I was skeptical that the brown color was too light, but in reality the color is quite a bit darker than the pix which I like. They have more of a bulky, hiking boot style, well suited for adventure bikes or maybe big cruisers. I think I would go a different direction if riding a sport bike. The straps don't do much to adjust the fit of the boots, but I don't feel the need anyway as the fit is right on. Undoing the top buckle makes it easier to get them on and off.
