Not very happy

Doesent fit to Leovince X3 mufler for DR-Z400s. i welded another conection to mufler. It also doesent fit to stock exhaust for DR-Z400s. Must cut around 3cm from the end of header. it sounds like crap with stock exhaust. I dont realize any difference in performance....engine is little quiter now.

Great muffler (and pipe)

I just got the PowerBomb pipe and this Q4 muffler for my 2004 KLR-650. I'm very pleased with them both. They gave me the amazing combination of more power and less noise. The bike has a good sound too, but more of a rumble than a bark. It's also snappier - it never used to power slide - not enough snap to make it break away when you expect - now it does have that snap. The bike's much more fun to ride now. The header and the muffler bolted right up in a half hour or so. Everything fit with only a little encouragement. It's all very well made and the muffler mounting bracket looks very strong. I'd recommend this combination to anyone. I also got the heat shield and it looks good and finishes off the job nicely.

I would rate motorcyclesuperstore.com OUTSTANDING! The pipe on the other hand failed in less than 3 months on my xr650L and FMF didn't want to honor the warranty when the weld on all three sides separated and the metal even tore about an inch long. As far as the pipe its an "ok" pipe but it failed so quickly I am not sure I would recommend this pipe unless you don't care about having to get it re welded.
