Good but messy

Great quality stuff. My chain is in great shape. But my rear sprocket gets really nasty and is darn near impossible to get clean again.

Best I have tried

Just put a new chain and sprockets on, and unfortunately I ran out of PJ1 Blue. Guy at the local Polaris place swore by the Maxima Chain Guard he had. It is INFERIOR to the PJ1..left a huge mess on my rear wheel/tire, and continued to make a mess for a couple weeks until it worked out. I have never had this trouble with PJ1, great product.

Good lube - PJ1 is the bomb!

I use this lube every other time I ride. I come home, put my DRZ400SM on the stand and lube 'er up. Can't really say it flings more less than other lubes cuz frankly I understand I have to clean my rims sooner or later so I don't whine. I've used PJ1 since I was a kid, so suppose I'll use PJ1 until I die : )

Impressive product

I have previously been using Bel-ray super clean chain lube for around 4 years both on off road and on road chains. I finally got a new chain on my street bike and decided to try a new lube. Could not be happier with this product. It goes on clear (Bel-ray is white!!!) and if you apply it to a hot chain and let it sit overnight it will not fling off. I have had no fling even at high speeds, so it is STICKY, CLEAR and CLEAN. Chain feels smooth as can be. Just try PJ-1, you won't regret it!

Lovely chain lube

I'm new to motorcycles with chains, so I chose this product by reading reviews. It works great, doesn't splatter, and is easy to use. 5 stars.

Best chain lube I have found

I don't think chain lube gets any better than this stuff. I have used many brands, this is by far the best.

Works as intended

Product works great, usually clean chain and apply PJ1 on a Sat/Sun then reapply some PJ1 on a Wednesday. Rinse and repeat no issues would definitely recommend this product.

Best Chain Lube I have used

Was using Chain Wax based on recommendation of local Honda dealer. This stuff is far superior in every regard! I have a 2009 Honda XR650L & 2006 Kawasaki KLX250s. I will use this stuff from now on! I am a big fan! I spray on the night before riding & does not sling off!

PJ1 Blue Label Chain Lube

Most chains come with a film of oil or grease, if you use this product, I would suggest cleaning chain in gas/thinner to eliminate all oil grease from it (let dry) then apply, let sit a while before riding, Best to have new chain off the bike before applying PJ1, then put on the bike! Cleaning will make sure there will be limited/no sling, PJ1 may not stay on an oily or greased or silicon-ed chain! It's that easy, after first application you can spray it on chain as you turn the rear wheel in neutral while on a bike lift! Stay safe riding!

The only kind of chain lube I buy

This stuff is great. First time I applied, I didn't let it settle long enough and rode too hard and it flinged a little. Now I know to wait 10 minutes after applying, then drive slowly 10-15 mph through the neighborhood for 5 mins to let the lube work its way into all crevices of the chain. Then I let it sit for another 10 minutes and it's ready to ride like normal. This stuff is great, buy it now.

PJ-1 Blue Label

Proper application, a warm chain, the bike on a stand, rubber glove lined with a used rag ready for disposal, spraying the lube down through the bottom of the chain (towards the ground below the swingarm), wiping and cleaning the chain as each section is lubed. All excess lube (and dirt) is wiped from side plates, chain is then checked for proper adjustment, adjusted if required and ready for my next ride.
