You get what you pay for

Anyone who thinks that those "cheaper" pretty wheels will perform like these needs to have their head examined. Just like your daddy told ya - You Get What You Pay For. There are many reasons why these cost so much. They are BULLET-PROOF, light, look awesome (for years), and extremely durable. I have had wheels like this survive a busted chain and rear sprocket - where those cheap brands would have shattered into 1,000 pieces. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY FOR THESE! Get everything - Splinedrive nipples, billet hub, Takasago Rim, 3-cross spokes - ALL SO WORTH IT! (You will thank me later)

Much improved quality

I build my own wheel sets as well as wheels for friends and the Warp 9 stuff has definitely gone up in quality over the last few years. Coating quality and trueness used to be quite debatable, I had a black wheel turn eggplant color in about a year once, it looked awful. They tend to be a bit more of a fight to get true than Excel, Behr or Sun rims, but they're ahead of where they used to be, and the best dollar value.

Great deal for decent quality

I jumped off of a loading dock and the wheels held up.
