    Pirelli Diablo Rosso Rear Tire
    • The new concept tire from Pirelli is called the Diablo Rosso. Instead of using multi-compounds, they use what is called EPT (Enhanced Patch Technology) to ensure a better grip and better performance on the road
    • Based on their leading experience in the motorcycle racing world, they produced this tire for the street legal (super)sports motorcycles. Sports motorcycles have been increasing their power and torque over the last decade, and the tires need to follow this trend. Current tires are limited, hence the reason Pirelli came out with a new concept
    • The structure design is aimed to maximize - at every lean angle and every speed - the contact patch; in terms of area, shape and pressure. This combination supports the tread to reach an unbeatable level of grip and stability. The tire structure has been designed in order to get the set synchronized into balanced behavior, with the 2 tires perfectly matched in dynamic use
    • The patented Zero Degrees steel belt below the tread keeps the tires in the most suitable shape at all times and yet provides enough elasticity for a very progressive feedback and behavior in lean, allied to unbeatable bump absorption. With the support of the compound the zero degrees steel belt also guarantees huge braking stability

These tires were just fine. I have a 07 cbr 1000rr. I got over 5000 miles on them. I hit the wear bars and the bike still handled just fine. I bought the new diablo rosso 2's, see how they go from here, got them today.

    Good Tire

I bought this tire to replace the same tire on the back of my Aprilia Falco. It is a good all-around tire, it has plenty of dry grip, descent life, and quality rain performance. I have ridden in the rain plenty of times with this tire. The only downfall of the tire is, and I expect this to be the case with any tire anyone buys, that towards the end of its life it loses a little bit of straight-up grip.

    Good Tire for Price

This tire is by far the best in grip and traction that I have ever bought. I got them earlier this year and have put almost 6000 miles on them. The back tire is done but I also rode 2up for about 25-30 percent of those miles. Not bad mileage out of such a soft compound tire.

Handles well, nice ride. Have about 1000 miles on it. Will purchase again, along with the front. Have not had it in wet conditions, so can't comment on that or tread life.

Used this tire for a total of 1500 miles and tread is now showing :( In corners, it held up perfect, but the life span of the tire suck! Now I'm waiting to buy a new tire.

    Great Performance Tire

The Pirelli Diablo Rosso Rear Tire provides great traction on the road. It gives you excellence traction and grip when cornering, taking off, and stopping. I felt the difference in the riding immediately. I'm very pleased with the tires and the price is outstanding.

I have been riding for most of my life and am now just about 40. I ride a gixxer 1K and ride it hard and fast. I have never found a tire equal to the Pirelli's. Everyone that rides with me is now equipped with the same tires and they are all amazed. GREAT TIRE!

    good tires

I run this tire on my 919 good warm up. Stock tires would spin when cold. 6000 plus on front tire maybe 6000 on rear. I do push these tires.

10.000 and I passed the inspection today

I live in NY, Bronxville. Streets are like Baghdad around here and NYC. I went today and passed the inspection after 10200 miles. I am not a racer, but I use my bike often, it's a 2009 . I am in the process of buying a new set for when I reach 12k maybe 14k... lets see...

This is a great tire! Amazing traction in both dry & wet conditions. I've only got 1000 miles on them so far, so I can't comment on tread life at this point. I would recommend these tires!

    08 CBR600rr

I bought my bike used with a set of worn Qualifiers that needed changed. A friend talked about his Diablo set on his 919 and how it was hard to find a better tire. After reading the reviews and comparing some prices I decided to try the Diablo Rosso on front and back. It was like a brand new bike! Confidence inspiring doesn't begin to describe these tires! I've tried to break them loose and they continue to stick.

    great handling tire

Unfortunately I only had a few chances to ride these tires before I traded in the R6. Once they were scrubbed in, I felt they were very balanced in the corners, they have an excellent contour to give you and even feeling transfer through chicane's. I was able to lay the bike into hard corners with complete confidence. They hold heat well and ride smooth. Very impressed for the price. Would highly recommend these for a performance street tire.

    Diablo Rosso's

Purchased Diablo Rosso to replace my Q2 and I can say I am happy with them, seem to be a little bit more comfortable riding on the freeways. Just hope they last as long as Q2 put over 9k on them and they were great.

These tires take the turns tight. They are super tacky, hold the lean angles, and corner exit is dead on the money. Great tire for the value and good in dry/wet riding.

    Great Tires

These Tires are great, and for the price you cannot beat them. I have both front and rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso's and once they warm up they STICK. I live in Yonkers the city full of pot holes and the ride feels way better than my Bridgestones. I would wish all bikes came with these tires. They handle great, I ride a 02 Yamaha R6.
