This is great to wear on those really hot days.
The fit is a little "off" what I would expect, but I think most are pretty close in saying go up one size. I'm usually between a small - medium, and went with a large. This was a little too large, as the back protector feels like it rides up a bit to high and will make contact with my helmet if I tilt my head up enough.
I wanted some heavy duty protection for my shoulders and thought this product would be the answer. However, unlike the video and in the manual that comes with it the shoulder pads are not adjustable. If you look at the picture above the video that is what you are getting. Unfortunately the shoulder pads hit me on my upper arms and do not cover my shoulders at all. Do not buy this product expecting shoulder protection because if it doesn't happen to fit your shoulder as is the is no way to adjust. Since the main reason I bought it was for shoulder protection it gets the lowest rating on fit from me. It also gets the no rating for durability because I just got it and can't rate it in that area.
I ride trials, and for me I would purchase again. I got this brace for instability in my knee and the brace gives me the confidence to ride without worrying my knee will give out when planting my foot out.
The velcro straps on mine came apart was my only bit of dissatisfaction.
Would highly recommend a leg sleeve be worn underneath to keep the inside pads cleaner.
The good: fits well and the fit chart is accurate. Also, it's not as hot as it looks.
The bad:not really.
The ugly: It pinch the inner layer of my riding pants at the front where the plastic meets. That prevents my legs from straighten up when I tried to stand on peg from sitting. However, I had to slow down and bend and straighten my leg form once to a few times to get the pinch off.
