Best tank bag in 40 years

Best tank bag I've owned. I always have had tankbags on my street bikes, I can remember at least 13 over the decades. This tank bag is what I would expect for $200, so you're getting a great deal.

This is a real review

I have had my cortech tail bag on my ducati st3s now for 6 years and I have to get rid of it. cortech designs certain features very well but has x-bad flaws as well. I would never buy another one. This tail bag will probably give you 4-5 years of good service, then it will disintegrate and will not hold onto your rear seat with aggressive riding. the bungee cords lose their elasticity and strength, causing constant re-adjusting. the bag slides laterally off the seat toward your exhaust and usually suspends there till another rider comes along beside you and starts giving you crazy hand signals. the cross cord hold-downs slide within the under sleeve. Its a bad design. All the rubber zipper grips have broken off and the neoprene base is like swiss cheese - quite disappointing. the bag's pocket design and general appearance are very good. cortech just needs incorporate a better mounting design and better mounting materials. I would rather pay 25-50.00 more and get better quality from the cortech bag. Although many outfits make these tail bags, they really look awful - I wish mine held up.

ok for price

Had two sets. Tried packing a laptop in the top bag. 15.6 " diameter barely fits with outside zippers pulled. Heat shields work but on a KTM 1190 does not clear exhaust and burns quick. Both sets zippers failed. Both sets stitching split so qulaity of construction is not so good. Both sets the velcro and plastic clips broke. When the plastic broke still usable but no more quick release. This happened on both sets when i tried to tighten the straps. Tank bag is magnetic and works well. Lers are great on bags. Lots of room for stuff. Will wait for kevlar stitching, high quality zippers like a good canvas bag before i purchase again. If you are careful and have a little bike these are prob great.

Love the bag

This is the perfect size for me. I went with the strap on model as opposed to the magnets. It's large enough to hold my wallet cell phone ,gloves, water and other miscellaneous personal items on a ride. It's not too big and bulky and looks nice. It has a nice soft interior so that nothing gets scratched. Overall I am very pleased with the bag. Safe riding??

Great tail bag

Got this Cortech dryver tail bag for my 20`5 Yamaha R-3. Love it. just the right size, not a touring bag but then again the bike is not a touring bike. Fit is perfect.
