Wet Weather gear

This is great wet weather gear. I wear it over my very leaky tour master 2X jacket. I choose to go with the 4X so it fits over the 2X jacket. It does fit great, easy to put on and does a great job of keeping me dry in light or very heavy rain that I have enjoyed on my daily 1 hour commute to work. Have only had it for a couple of weeks but it wears comfortable and seems to be handling the wind as well as the rain. Now to see how long the velcro and material hold when worn for awhile.

Firstgear Rainman jacket

Jacket is going to be worn by my wife (even tho' it's a mens) ordered a medium, it fits nicely over her leather jacket. The finish from all indication is maybe a 3 1/2. I question at this point the durability even tho' she hasn't had a reason to wear it to date but a 3 month trip to and around NM I'm sure it will be used. Material quality seems less than durable, thin material is questionable to ability to keep out wind and water. We shall report on that in 3 months. Features? Storage pouch has a draw string instead of a velcro closure which allows the draw string to hang exposed at the back when wearing and string closure doesn't really stay closed well for storing. Velcro wrist tabs, adjustable waist belt and longer back is nice. It needs side pockets, chest pockets aren't conveniently located. All in all I would say a questionable product at/ too high a price.... $59.00 would be stretching it.

Cost-effective rain protection

Rubber over-gloves that do what you'd expect: they keep your hands dry in any downpour. Also double as tough rubber gloves to keep your hands dry when you wash your bike, or your dog.

they do the job

Like them, fit like rain pants. They do go on easy over the boot and even if you're wearing chaps on the side of the road trying to avoid that sudden shower you thought you were going to avoid. Just wish you could order in a shorter version when you start hitting the XL. I have a 40 waist and the large is to tight. But will recommend these.
