Great security device

I use this chain to lock up my bike on campus. I run it between the exhaust pipes and the passenger pegs, through the rear wheel, and up over the seat. I can even run it through my full-faced helmet's chin bar and not worry about somebody stealing it by simply cutting the d-ring strap. Of course, I had to find a way to secure my wind screen, but that wasn’t tough. Needless to say, this cable has brought me great relief in worrying about my bike and convenience in being able to leave my helmet with my bike. Some day when I purchase a leather jacket, I will probably run the cable through the sleeves too so that'll stay with the bike. Great product. Very secure and discouraging to potential thieves. Would recommend to anyone who needs to lock up in a secure manner.

Kryptonite cable lock

I use this lock to secure my ATV. It works great - locks and unlocks with no problem. Construction seems excellent. I've used bully locks in the past and believe the kryptonite is just as good if not better.

Kryptonite - Hardwire Cable Lock with Bracket

I have been using this lock for a few weeks now and I am satisfied with its construction, ease of operation, and overall quality. I chose the ¾” diameter and 6 ft length cable for maximum security, but I am thinking a smaller cable would have been better, as the large bend radius of the big cable limits where you can 'thread' the cable through the bike's frame. The ball lock end is large and stout, no doubt making it hard to damage, but once again the size limits your access points. The key/ lock mechanism works great.

A Good Lock. Well Made

For the price this is an excellent choice. Plus it comes with a bracket to mount it to the bike or store attached to a pole in your garage.

Cable Lock

Good lock, with two caveats: 1. The key is difficult to insert properly and manipulate due to an unusual cut that is loose in the guide. I would also like to get extra keys made, but where...? 2. I don't like large chunks of plastic presented as a security item, like the locking mechanism that is covered in a large block of the stuff. What is under there, and is it really secure, or just beefy-looking in a plasticine way? I am almost curious enough to take a hammer to it and see.

DO NO BUY -

I bought this and the lock mechanism stopped functioning after a few weeks - thank God it wasn't locked to something at the time, as now it will not unlock. Junk.
