Great setup

I bought these along with the tail bag and tank back. Took them on a 500 mile ride, went through a couple days of rain. I had my backpacking gear with me inside the bags and they held everything I take on a backpacking trip. The rain fly's take a little wrangling to get them to work but they worked, and stayed on at high speeds. The quality seems as good as Nelson. Only time will tell. So far I like them and would buy them again. I ride a 2005 Yamaha FZ1.

Love it! Great tail bag!

This is a great tail bag. I bought it along with the Motocentric Sport Saddlebags and they are a great combo (have the tank bag as well). With this setup I can go on 4 day rides with my backpacking gear, camp and move on easily. Bags seem to be made well but only time will tell. They look the same quality as Nelson or any of the others I have seen. I would buy again!

Not bad but not great

I have a 2005 Yamaha FZ1 and it fits OK. I bought it because I thought I would like the hydration bag in it but it is poorly designed. Usable but not that great. It has enough room for general stuff but isn't big enough to carry a tablet or books like my older bag. Doesn't matter because I also have the Motocentric Sport Saddlebags and tail bag. I leave the tail bag on all the time and it is great! So, if you needs lots of room, this isn't the bag.

Ladies, listen up!

Great for commuting. Love almost everything about it...except the badge holders. The backpack is "One Size Fits Man" which would be fine if I had no hair. Besides my helmet getting caught on the Velcro, my hair does too (when it's in a bun/braid) and I'm trying to change lanes on the highway. Thankfully, there's plenty of space to hold my lunch and a hairbrush (on the off chance I'm not bald by the time I get to work). Worth the investment, but be prepared to jerry-rig it.
