Nice upgrade & improved ride
This is for a Vulcan 900. Easy installation. Highly recommend starting with factory sag setting. I say that as adjusting the sag with the shock installed is very difficult. The adjusting rings located well inside the 900s frame and hard to reach with the spanner tool (does not work well in this application). Progressive really needs to improve this tool (suggest a two prong tool that fits the rings. Ride is definitely improved over stock. Recommend this product as an improvement.
Ride's very bumpy. Not a good shock. PS' air shock is better. I have a street glide harley w/progressive mono-tub front end and its very stiff. Not happy.
Fit was good and easy install. Directions could be better.
Front fork Lowering Springs
Easy install. Lowered front of bike approx. 2". Need to remove front forks from bike, other than that an easy install.
drag specialites heavy duty shock
Got my used 2009 XL1200 sportster in 2012 with 1500 miles on it and the apparent used progressive shocks were defective. The new shocks made all the difference in the world in ride, no more bottoming out. Very happy with the comfort of a soft ride.
AMAZING CHANGE, CORRECTED THE DIVE ON BRAKING PROBLEM ON MY 2001 CONCOURS (BOUGHT NEW).
