floor boards

You need a saw to trim stock nut bolts a little bit. Installation is hard. If you have tools in hand then only try to install this item or else get help from professionals. I used them for VTX 1800, apart from installation, riding is awesome. No vibrations, I can feel 1800CC torque and the speed in freeway. I recommend it to my friends.

New pegs

Got these for the new rear floor boards I bought for the wife. They are Kuryakyn boards so the web page said they would work. I was a bit surprised that they did not mate up flush with the boards. But they do fit and the distance they stand off from the boards actually helps in clearing the side covers. Love the chrome and the small spring washers they supply really help in providing resistance to the boards so they can stand up right nice and tight.

Bad news

The name gave it all away. From the beginning of this purchase this item was cursed. Immediately after purchasing this item, I had a feeling like I was getting a subpar part. When I brought this to a well established shop with certified techs, I was told that the vortex rear-sets were much better. After 3 weeks of waiting for my bike to be worked on, I was called and told that this part would not fit my bike without appropriate parts that were supposed to come in the box. I called up Motorcycle Superstore and they had me tell the shop to get in contact with Voodoo. Long story short they did and Voodoo sent them the supposed needed parts, "according to Voodoo", that the bike would need in order for the part to work. The additional parts did not work. After several attempts, and a very experienced master tech trying to install fabricated parts to make it work, the shop told me that this was not going to fit without being unsafe for me to ride. I have trusted this shop to do anything and everything I have ever needed on all of my toys and they have always come through with no issues. Simply put this part does not and will not fit a 2007 k7 gsxr 1000. So as a strong recommendation before purchasing this item refer to a bike shop and see if it may or may not fit your bike. I recommend spending the extra cash on a product that will work without question, aka Vortex. Wish I could go lower than a 1 star on Fit and Install.

Floorboard kit

Super easy installation, looks great, and good riding. One note, you may want to consider the aftermarket chrome kickstand with extension. The stock kickstand rides against the bottom of the floorboard when up. Not a problem, just saying. Gotta get that chrome anyways :)

good upgrade for OEM footpegs

These black footpegs look great and keep my boots from slipping off even in the rain. The only negative is the CNC machined edges are sharp if you happen to catch a pant leg on them, they could possibly tear the pants.
