Good product but...

It's a great product! But if you ever ride in shorts make sure the shorts will be covering the part of your knees that will come in contact with the grips because they have left scrapes and scratches on my knees from where my legs slid down the grips.

IMS fuel tank for WR 250 R

The increased range provided by this fuel tank is a wonderful addition to a very versatile bike. The IMS tank delivers increased range. The tank is well built, easy to install, appears to be durable and is reasonably priced. After the last trip, when my riding buddy's fuel light was blinking, I easily had over a full gallon left. I would buy it again.

Acerbis 3.3gal. tank

I put this tank on my '08 WR. Works great. The mounts on the front of the tank at the radiators didn't fit with the given brackets, but all the other fittings mounted great and the tank is solid on the bike.

Petcock

Would not fit my IMS tank, bolt holes would not line up. I only needed the filter screen so I removed it and installed it on my old Petcock.

What a let down!

Got tank and it fit. Then I noticed there was some plastic missing near the bottom of the tank. Took it out in the sun and looked inside it. Could see plastic was very thin. Clark says its an older die and that will happen. Going to get a better tank.
