moose racing straight section heat shield

Great product with very versatile mounting brackets. I mounted it over the existing heat shield on my 2012 YFX 450R and it worked great. The price is high, but it was worth not burning my leg.

Sounds good...but is it really ??

This is my second set (4) of speakeasy baffles, the first set blew out of my pipes(screws still in place, baffles gone) about a month after install the first set, i did the install properly(watch the video on voodoo's website and used the red locktite glue)i have a 2003 hayabusa, with power commander, i contacted voodoo industries and of course they didn't want to take any responsibility for poor choice of metal their using in the construction of the baffles( aluminum is the worst choice for such a high temperature part) i was told i should have gotten my power commander remapped to compensate for the extra back pressure that was being placed on the speakeasy's....REALLY!! now i have to spend an additional 300 to 400$ for mapping because i installed 2 $22 parts ???....Next season i'm running M4 exhausts( dual)who needs all that loud noise anyway ??

You get what you pay for

I purchased the carbon full exhaust system with header pipe about a year ago for my 09 YZ250F and have not been impressed. The mid mount bracket cracked and broke off during a trail ride this week. The end cap top hole broke out because the spark arrestor insert and reducer cone don't fit well together under the end cap. The pipe is too loud (just as loud or louder than stock). I feel bad riding trail with it, but fine for track. All the can bolts came loose at some point, had to replace and thread-lock them. Header bolts keep coming loose. End cap bolts are soft material and strip easy, had to replace those. Pay a little extra for something with better quality. For strictly track use, the system is ok. Still produces good power.
